"W-where's who?" Yvette started to fidget, as Nigel neared her, a sneer on his face.
"LYS!" Nigel's spit came flying into Yvette's face, making her flinch slightly. He stomped around the room, pushing aside curtains and and opening doors, looking under things, determined to find someone that wasn't there. Yvette inched over to Lana.
"Did you tell him?" She whispered, glancing constantly at the angered man rummaging around her room.
"No," Lana replied, her bunny ears twitching. "He was passing by when he heard him yell. I'm sorry, I tried to stop him."
"It's okay." Yvette took a step away from the bunny maid, just as Nigel turned around, his face red with anger.
"DID HE DO ANYTHING TO YOU?!" He shouted, nearing Yvette and wrapping a hand tightly around her throat. her mouth opened, but all that was let out was a squeak. Lana tensed up, and flinched forward, but then just averted his eyes. "If I try to help, I'd be whipped." Lana thought, standing by, helpless.
"N-No!" Yvette muttered, almost inaudible. Nigel dropped her on the ground, leaving her coughing and gasping shakily. He left the room without another word.
Once the door shut, Lana dropped to her knees next to Yvette, hugging her tightly. "Yvette I'm so sorry! I-I," Tears started to form at the corners of Lana's eyes. Yvette looked up, and wiped at the maid's eyes, smiling a little.
"It's okay." She said, giving Lana a soft smile.
Soft taps started to be heard from the balcony windows, making Lana and Yvette look up. They glanced at each other with the same, quizzical looks. Slowly, Yvette stood and parted the curtain slightly, a white raven fluttering around a bag set on the balcony.
Yvette slowly opened the door, closing it behind her. She kneeled down, the raven flying forward and onto her shoulder.
"Hello, Daniel," She started, softly petting the bird's head with her finger. "What have you brought me?"
The bird fluttered away, and in the blink of an eye, transformed into a man. He had silky white hair, reaching to the small of his back. His eyes were bright blue. And his attire consisted of a grey vest, white button up shirt, and black pants tucked into brown leather knee high boots.
"I think I've found you a way to get out of here."
