you wake up facing the sky, you can hear the waves crashing against the shore and thanks to your unbelievably sensitive ears you can hear a subtle snore to your left.

then you recall last nights events and remember the cat that is as black as void.

you think that you are glad he stook around because you thought you wouldn't last much longer without going insane.

you look to your left and are started.

your instincts make you freeze out of fear. you suppose it makes you do that so you won't wake up the threat. 

you take in your surroundings to identify the fastest escape route found it then you smelled and then you are confused you still smell the cat and weirdly enough it is coming from the human.

at first you think he is laying on the cat but you notice his body is not displaced and he's naked.

you freeze and think "why would he be naked ?" "and why would he sleep next to me?"

then it hits you. he is the cat.

you mainly figure this out because you can still smell the moose on him and not because his hair was also black as the void in your soul.

same color as the cats.

then you realized that is why the cat was so easy to read and had rather human reactions.

you notice that he starts to stir, "shit, fuck what am I going to do?" you thought as you hastily hid.

you woke up slowly as you sat up and looked around 

you noticed that the guy you found last night isn't there and you sigh audibly.

"Man that guy is gone he seemed like fun." you said sadly.

surprised by how high your voice is your hand rushes to your mouth to cover it.

"shit, I always forget how high my voice is in human form."

even though it is your original form you have always despised it in more ways than one.

"it is so large and loud and so hard to take care of, it needs so much to eat and drink that it's almost not worth it." you thought.

you heard a quiet rustle of the leaves and instantly look towards the direction of the sound. You see nothing at first you look closer and you see a faint red behind a bush.

 "it is the human from earlier he didn't leave but how come I couldn't detect him like I should be able to?" you wonder.

unless he is not a human the would explain how he took down a fucking moose." you thought angerly.

you noticed your jellisiy and tried to calm yourself down.

you failed rather miserably at this so you decided to give up and call to the boy.

"Hey I know you're there so come on out !" you yelled sounding more bitter then you would like to have.

the shape behind the bush jumps a few meters in the air surprising you how high he can jump just from being startled and confirming your theriey from earlier.

"so you aren't human," you stated quite plainly, as the shape stuttered out of the bush you see this meek boy who is only a bit taller then you.he is skin and bone though you can barely tell through his clothes. he has red hair and brilliant blue eye that look similar to yours. not only because of their color but because his pupils are vertical like cat eyes, "Like my eyes." you state out loud by accident.

he seems to blush from this and you find it rather cute.

"NO!" you thought. "I will not ruen another friendship just because of stupid thoughts."

"How old are you?" you can't help but ask.

"s s 16." he stuttered.

"And your name?" you ask.
