Scarlet was awoken in a dark room she knew all too familiarly. Her eyes opened slowly and she could see someone was sitting beside her bed. "Hmmm.....?" She mumbled lowly feeling slightly confused. "Good morning...?" She asked the person sitting beside her bed confused. "It's still night time." Answer the person sighing. "I thought I told you to take a break from your job..." He began. "But I did not mean for you to go to the town, hunting down the Level E Vampires yourself." He added.
Scarlet only listened to him as she tried to sit up, but somehow feeling pain all over her body. "Ugh..." She grunted lowly. "You should not move too much. You might not feel it when you were fighting, but your body just took some damages. You should rest up." He spoke again sternly. Scarlet could just sigh. "Did you bring me back?" She asked without really looking at him. "Unfortunately, it's not me who found you." His answer shocked her that she turned to look at him finally.
Scarlet was now facing the one and only leader of the night class students, the Kuran Kaname who was looking at her. "What was that? Worried? Nah, it's impossible." Scarlet thought to herself as she thought she saw Kaname's expression changed slightly when she suddenly turned to look at him. "Then, who...?" She did not have to finish her question as someone else came into the room. "It was Luna-chan who saved you, Scarlet."
She turned her head to the door to see the headmaster walking with a young girl around her age besides him. The girl had short hair with the color of black, she guessed, and her eyes, they were red? Scarlet was not sure since it was too dark and she was too far. "Seriously, Scarlet. I did not give you permission for you to do that. I thought you need a break so I permitted you. But, if I knew you would-" His words were cut off by Scarlet herself.
"I got it, I got it... I'm sorry, headmaster. I would not do it again. Sorry to worry you." She said as she sighed before turning to Kaname. "I'm sorry too, Kaname-senpai." She apologized to him, although she was unsure whether he was worried about her or not. Kaname just stayed silent looking at her not really saying anything else. She did not really like him looking at her like that, so she turned back to look at the headmaster and the girl called Luna.
"Um, so... Luna, is it...? Thank you for saving me." She said as she tried to get up again, but only to feel pain again. "Ah, it is alright, you do not need to wake up." The girl called Luna spoke as she walked up to her. "And it is no problem. I was passing by when I saw you." She said smiling to her. "I was also on my way to this academy when I saw your uniform too, so it was just a coincidence. You do not have to thank me." She added.
Now that Scarlet had a good look at her, her hair reached up to the shoulder and her eyes were indeed red. She somehow seemed familiar to her, though. Then, she noticed that Luna was also wearing the Cross Academy uniform, white one. "I see..." She muttered lowly. "I still thank you... For, uh... Stopping yourself must be hard, I guess?" She said unsure, as she was talking about holding her hunger as Scarlet was pretty much bleeding.
"Ah, no, no. It was no problem at all, as I had tasted your blood too. I should thank you as well." Luna abruptly confessed, making three pairs of eyes turned to look at her. "Eh...?" Scarlet was taken aback. "Uh, sure then... You're welcome...?" She replied even more unsure. "Um, Luna-chan... Did you just say...?" Headmaster asked too, reconfirming what he heard. Luna turned to look at him and nodded. "Yes, I just did say that." She beamed brightly.
Then, Kaname stood up from the chair, looking directly at Luna. "Since you're new, I will make sure to talk to you about our rules here." He said looking at Luna with his cold look. Scarlet gulped. "Uh, take it easy, please, Kaname-senpai? Since she helped me?" She said trying to at least make sure Kaname would not do anything dangerous. He then turned to look at her and his expression soften. "Don't worry. I will just speak about the rules. Well, I will tell Yuki about your condition first. I will take my leave first." Kaname said as he walked out of the room.
Hearing Yuki's name, Scarlet's heart fell slightly but then she remembered. "Right, did Yuki and Zero know...?" Scarlet asked the Headmaster. "Well, of course. Luna brought you back rather... How should I say it....? Flashy?" He laughed unsure on how to explain. "Ugh..." Scarlet grumbled slowly. "Don't worry. We will tell them that you're perfectly fine, with just some bruises I guess." Headmaster said laughing again. "Leave the bruises out." Scarlet protested with her stoic expression as always.
"Alright, alright. We will leave you to rest for now then. Have a good night, Scarlet." Kaien said waving to her before he led Luna out of the room and closed the door. Scarlet just sighed as she closed her eyes. "Luna...huh...?" She mumbled before she drifted off to sleep.

"Look, look Maya! The flowers have blossomed! What a rare occurrence, right?!" A little girl was beaming at the sight of a garden filled with colorful flowers, as she was running around the garden. "Wait, Princess, please slow down, or you'll fall!" Another girl shouted to the said Princess. The Princess then stopped but then pouted looking at her. "Wh-what's it, Princess?" The other girl asked, worried that she had disgraced her. "I told you... No need to call me Princess again. Call me, L-U-N-A!" The princess spoke up as she put her hands on her hip. "B-but, that would be rude... A person like me..." The other girl mumbled.
"Geez... I've told you, Maya. Aren't we friends?" The princess sighed and walked up to her. "Aren't we like sisters already?" She added as she got closer to her. "See! Even we look exactly alike!" She beamed then as she suddenly was right in front of the other girl now, surprising her. "W-wha- Prince-" Receiving a glare from the princess, she corrected herself, "Luna..." She shyly said her name. Luna grinned. "Good! You should learn to call my name more, Maya!"

"Luna..." Scarlet mumbled in her sleep. "Maya..." Behind her door, someone was watching her as she was sleeping. The person's lips turned up into a curve. "I've finally found you..." Said the person as the last word spoken in a very inaudible voice. Then the person left the spot silently.
The next morning, Scarlet had been able to wake up without any pain left. She felt quite confused and doubtful herself, but she was grateful as well. Now she would not worry anyone, or so she thought. "Scarlet!!" Came the loudest call she would ever hear in the morning accompanied with some stepping foot voices. "Good morning, Yuki." Scarlet simply greeted as she saw her in front of the door to their dining room. Zero was already in the room. He came before Yuki, and Scarlet was glad that he was not as noisy as Yuki. Though he looked pretty surprised when he found Scarlet sitting down on the dining table already looking all fine and well, eating breakfast innocently.
Scarlet saw how fast Yuki could move for the first time as she suddenly appeared right in front of her. "Are you alright? Feeling well already? You don't feel hurt anywhere else anymore, right?" Yuki basically threw her lots of question. "Y-yeah... I'm alright...." Scarlet blinked as she answered her dumbfounded. "Calm down, Yuki." Zero spoke up. "You're troubling her." He added as he ate his breakfast ignorantly too.
Yuki turned to look at Zero. "But, Zero, don't you care about our little sister's well being?" Zero looked at Yuki with a raising eyebrow, followed with Scarlet who still looked pretty much stoic still, but still surprised as they heard the word "little sister". "Wait, since when am I the little sister?" She voiced out her complaint. "Since before long ago, since you're the smallest of us." Yuki said with a grin as she brought her finger up, pointing up. "No, no... Yuki... We are at the same age, and I'm slightly taller than you." Scarlet said with the stoic expression but a stern voice. "No way! I'm taller than you." Yuki countered, and Scarlet countered back, thus the two were mouth fighting about whether who was taller than who.
Zero just sighed. He was thinking of why would he have to live with these two girls. "If you don't hurry up and finish your breakfasts, you're going to be late you know." With that, the two girls turned to look at him and asked at the same time. "Then, Zero! Who do you think is taller?" Zero looked at the two of them sighing. "I am taller than the two of you so just eat your breakfast before you're late." He said as he stood up from his seat, already finishing his breakfast. "Well, I'll go first then." He said before leaving the two girls who were looking at each other before Yuki laughed, and Scarlet just smiled a little, but sadly Yuki did not get a glimpse of it. Then the two ate their breakfast, and made their way to class.
The morning passed uneventfully. Then the afternoon came. It was time for the guardian. Yuki was still worried about Scarlet's condition that she had told her to take a break for today. But, Scarlet had stubbornly told her that she was fine, so she would still do her job properly. "After all, I can't leave you for another day." She added in her mind. "More so... There's someone I have to see..." She mumbles in a low voice. Yuki could not hear it properly so she just tilted her head. "It's nothing. Let's get to work."
So, Scarlet and Yuki headed to the night class dorm and Zero had been missing as usual. Unlike the most days, Scarlet had stood in front of the gate with Yuki. She did not really do anything, but at least, with her there, the crowds were more subtle than usual. Then the gate was opened, and Scarlet moved away slightly, opening up the way for the night class students to pass. She then saw the usual night class students but did not spot someone she was looking for. Then, her thought was broken by a certain someone, the blonde haired senior.
"Oh, Scarlet-chan! You come today? Where did you go yesterday? I missed you already~" Hanabusa said to her as he approached her and took her hands in his, as usual. Scarlet still could not get used to it though, so she pulled away and answered with her usual expressionless face, "I just had a day off." She simply said. Though, she knew most of the night students had known about her injury yesterday because of the smell of blood. "It's too bad I could not see you yesterday~" Hanabusa added, and the day class girls were already shouting and some yelling at her. "Alright, alright, now you see me, so move along please." She simply said yet again with her stoic face. Hanabusa pouted slightly but then moved along as he saw Kaname was coming. Scarlet noticed him too and bowed slightly.
Then she heard a voice calling her name. "S-c-a-r-l-e-t~!" And suddenly she was glomped. That threw her off guard and she almost lost her balance because of it. "Wh-wha-who...?" She asked before she turned to look at the new transfer girl who had saved her. "Err... Luna...?" She called, unsure. "Yes~ It is me~" She gleefully answered, and Scarlet could feel many eyes were on them. "Uh, um... Could you please...?" She was unsure about how to tell her. "Huh? Oh, sorry~" Thankfully Luna got it and had gotten away from her. "I just missed you~ How're you feeling today?" She asked smiling brightly to her. "I-I'm fine, thank you." Scarlet answered still feeling somewhat off if talking with her. After all, they just met yesterday, and she already acted all friendly, and all, of course, she would not know how to act.
"Oh, that is good to hear~! Well then..." Luna then moved closer to her and whispered, "Let me drink your blood again one day." That was only audible to Scarlet, Kaname, Zero, and perhaps Akatsuki who had good hearings. Scarlet was taken aback once again. Then Luna just giggled before she left her and joined the other night class students. She just could see her leave before Kaname came into her view. She bowed once again before the night class students left to their classes. Zero could also look at them then to Scarlet. Only a thought remained on her head, "Who is Luna actually...?"
