(Annett’s point of view)
After June stormed out of the coffee shop. Clutching her smore cup to her chest like a shield I waited a few seconds and stood up to follow her. I nodded to the barista on my way out. I'll need to make a note to talk to her again. She seems to know alot about my girl. Any extra information would be useful to me. When I got outside June was distractedly walking in the wrong direction. I smiled to myself as I started to follow behind her. The entire time she was walking she never looked up from the smore cup she was distracting herself with. She somehow managed to not run into anything or anyone. She turned into a alley and continued her walk. I knew that alley was a dead end so I decided to wait until she came back out so I could walk her home. After a little while I heard June yell “Move! Your in my way!” I spun around and ran into the alley. I got there just in time to see one guy grab her around the waist and throw her down as the other one kicked her stomach. I saw red. How dare someone kick my girl! June’s cry of pain echoed as I lunged strait for the guy who kicked her. I made sure to train in martial arts for the past few years so I could protect my girl. I kicked the guy that kicked June in the stomach as hard as I could. He gave a strangled cry as I heard some ribs cracking and fell to his knees. I kneed him in the nose smiling as I heard the satisfying sound of his nose braking. He fell to the ground unconscious. Pity. I wasn't done with him. The one farthest from me was still trying to take deep breaths. June must have throat punched him. That's my girl. I smiled a dark smile that had the men hesitating. I said in a low animal like tone. “You hurt my girl. I'll beat you for that.” The other two lunged for me at once. I dogged their attacks. One threw a punch at me I ducked brabing his wrist as I went down. I came up right behind him and before he knew what was happening I pulled his arm backward as hard as I could. His shoulder dislocated as I shattered the bone in his forearm. That had to hurt. He screamed as he fell to the ground clutching his arm to him chest. Two down. One left. I went after at the last man. Slamming him hard against the wall. Before he could get his balance back I delivered a hard kick to his leg. And with the help of the brick wall behind him. I snapped the femur bone in his leg. He fell to the ground screaming. Without a second glance I ran to June. Who was still on the ground. Curled into a tight ball to protect her stomach. I threw myself down next to her as she tried to focus, “Hang on! June! Hang on!” I was starting to become frantic. A piece of broken bone could hit something important. As gently as I could I picked her up. She weakly nuzzled her head against my shoulder like a cat. I pulled out my phone. I called my sister, Rina. She was a doctor in the area and could help me. “Hello?”
“Sis, I need you to come to the house immediately. Junes hurt. Her rib is broken and she's unconscious.” Rina was the one person that knew about my fascination with June. She always tells me she will allow me to pursue her. But if it turns toxic she putting an end to it. She didn't hesitate to answer.
“I'll be right there. Try to move her as little as possible.”
