(June’s point of view)

When I woke up I tried to pull the covers up over my head. But someone beat me to it. The person realized what I was trying to do and pulled the blanket all the way over both of our heads. My eyes shot open. What the? Adrenaline helped me sit up but it didn't block the pain that radiated from my ribs. “Ah!” Suddenly the person that was cradling me in bed shot up. “Swietie, be careful!” I wasn't very surprised to find Annett was the one in bed with me. Oh hell. I'm getting used to this. As I wrapped my arms around my chest Annett got behind me and gently pulled me back so I was laying on her. Back to chest. She carefully wrapped her arms around my ribs and held my hands to keep me from getting back up. She looked down at me with a concerned expression “How do you feel, sweetheart? Does your rib hurt? Do you need some water?” I nodded yes to her last question. Water was good. She grabbed a glass of water from her nightstand and handed it to me. When I was done I handed it back to her. The pain in my ribs disappeared. Oh great. She was looking at me like a puppy waiting for praise. I looked up at her with an expression you would wear if you were scolding a small child. “Annett what was that?”

“Oh, that was water with some painkillers in it. Scene I know you wouldn't take anything I gave you.”

“You drugged my water!” She smiled down at me like that was a perfectly normal thing to do.

“Of course I did. I don't like seeing my girl in pain.” I scowled at her.

“I'm not your girl.” She sighed and stated clearly, “You will be.”

I was about to counter her statement when a fake cough came from the doorway. During our argument I had instinctively moved closer to Annett and by the time the person in the doorway had fake coughed to alert us to her persons we were about an inch apart. My face turned an embarrassing shade of red as I moved away. Annett took one look at my blush and got a smug look on her face. I would have gotten off of Annett’s lap but she refused to let go. The person in the doorway introduced herself. “Hello, Im Rina Rain. Annett’s sister.”
