I yawned loudly so much it made kitty yawn too as I stood fixing the hot water pipe in the kitchen Kitty was sat having her dinner I was trying to ignore cas gabbering on we where at a solar system so we where scanning the planners for life the whole point of our mission to try and find carbon based life in the known universe, it's stupidity really why not scan when they find them rather then discovering half the dam universe then sending us to check what's move in ready or not of course we have never found anything important

"Life sign found..." CAS read

"What?" I ask going to the intercoms"dad did I hear that right?" I ask

"I think cas is just glitching Oscar" he laughs "uhhh...hang on.... Oscar get up here we have a situation" he says so I ran up to the control to kitty following me

"What is it? What have we found?" I ask

"Just sit and check I'm not seeing things" he says so I sat and looked at the scanner

"Yeah, one life sign, it's fain thought definitely carbon based humanoid going on cass read out plannet 3875710 or lylen cas give me a full scan tell me exactly what we got down there" I ask and we both sat quietly listening for it to work it all out

"Life sign 1: dim, fading, curable sickness, genetics : humaniod, roughly below six feet, adult, XX configuration, all details available" it finished and I was bouncing in my chair like a baby

"It might just be junk on the scanner again, we best set down see if something is there" he says

"XX" I giggled

"Shut up" he says

"THANK YOU UNIVERSE!" I smirk "yes! I'm just space age and we found a alien! And not just an alien a alien girl! The universe is finally being nice after the continued kicks in the nuts for the last seventeen years!" I smile very excited

"It could be nothing" he says

"But it could not" I smile bouncing around the ship getting my room, the kitchen everything tidy and perfect even giving kitty a comb "we might be meeting a girl today kitty, so we have to look nice.. you could be getting a mummy" I tell her as I felt the ship set down so I ran up to the control "so?" I ask

"Well the sign is still there getting weaker, there is a life sign out there cas is getting her on the ray scans" he explained

"I'll go out" I began but he grabbed my jumpsuit

"You stay here" he says Pushing me in his chair as he got up

"What! Ohh come on dad there is an alien girl out there and she needs helping I have to go" I complain

"You stay here with those video game reflexes while I go and see if it's real" he says so I sighed sitting listening to him suiting up and going out to his desert planet there was so much dust it was almost impossible to see anything out side so I just sat listening "I have visual, life sign, looks humanoid, definitely a girl, no Oscar before you ask she is not sharing your room" he says

"I wasn't going to say that" I complain

"You where thinking it loudly" he laughs "I'm bringing her in now, we need to isolate her a while make sure she's not bringing anything in with her" he says so I waited and waited till he came back "bay 2, but do not open that door she is in isolation for atleast 30 days" he says

"Fine fine, whatever is she awake?" I ask

"You figure it out" he laughs so I ran down to isolation
