Looking at the building in front of him, Alec couldn’t help but frown.

“Must we shop here?”

Noah smile: “Yes, now come on.”

Alec let out a little frustrated growls, his brows furrowed.

Before they step into the store, someone call out to them.

“Noah, Alec!”

“Eve.” Upon see the brunette beauty, a wide smile spread across Noah’s feature as he greeted his childhood friend.

“Hi guys! Bliss and I are just heading back.” Eve said, signalling to Bliss who are standing beside her.

Bliss greeted them both with her signature bright smile.

Alec feels like his cheeks are burning up again, he quickly shifted his gaze away and grabs Noah by the wrist, dragging him forward much to the dismay of Noah.

Eve blinks and exchange a glance with Bliss. “What is wrong with him?”

“Maybe he is excited about the big sale they’re having right now. (◕▿◕✿) ” Bliss said, pointing to all sparkling floating signs all over the store.

Alec was only a few steps away from them when he heard something that made him halt his footsteps. He look over his shoulder and there he was, that guy... that guy that smile like he is a charming prince on a white horse coming out from a fairy tale or something...

Cold sweat are dripping down from Noah’s forehead, he briefly glances at the grip on his wrist, then at the burning rage in Alec’s eyes. He think he just heard something crack, it’s not his bones right?

“...Alec.”

The giggles coming from that direction is the most disturbing thing Alec has ever heard.

Noah swear the grip on his wrist is getting tighter by the second, if he doesn’t do anything soon, he will return home with a broken wrist. Noah heaves a sigh before he put on his usual gentleman’s smile, dragging Alec over.

“Pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ethan Grayson I presume?” Noah said, extending his hand after Alec let him go out of panic. “I’m Noah Lenn and he’s Alec Chance.”

Ethan took his hand and greeted them both.

Alec gritted his teeth and squeeze Ethan’s hand as if he is going to break them. “Nice to meet you. (◣▿◢) ”

The group decided to lunch together, Ethan slowed his pace and walk beside Bliss, lowering his voice in the process.

“Bliss, I think Alec hates me. Did I do something wrong?” Ethan whispered, stealing glances to the three walking in front of them, making sure a certain amethyst eye boy is not paying attention to them.

“Why would you say that?”

“He also break my hand earlier and he keep giving me this kind of look.”

“What look?”

“You know, like he is smiling but his eyes is threatening to kill you in your sleep.” Ethan said, mimicking Alec’s expression (◣⌣◢).

“Pffft.” A string of laughter escapes Bliss’s mouth. She grabs Ethan by his arm, bending over with her free arm over her stomach.

Ethan gave Bliss a look ಠ_ಠ , “You can at least shows some sympathy to your childhood best friend, instead of being rude you know. Even Blitz and Sherlock is laughing at me.”

“I-I’m s-sorry.” Bliss takes in a few deep breath, wiping the tears from the corner of her eyes. “I’m sure he just haven’t warm up to you yet.”

“You think so?”

“He may look scary...”

Sherlock: “No kidding. I didn’t do anything to him yet I feel like he hates me already.”

Blitz: “Yeah, same here. And I always play with him!”

Sherlock: “(눈_눈) Are you kidding me, Blitz? When did you ever play with him?”

Blitz: “What do you mean? All the time! We like to tease each other but we’re just playing.”

Sherlock recall the times when Blitz complains how everyone is trying to get Bliss’s attention and how Blitz bicker with Alec...

Sherlock: “ಠ▃ಠ You’re so weird.”

Blitz: “Hey!”

And on Alec’s side.

Noah felt like face palming, Alec is obviously listening to Bliss’s conversation with Ethan. He eyed Alec; he went from teeth gritting, fist balling angry to lost his soul after Bliss said he look scary.

She thinks I’m scary. Alec eyes became blank and for a second there Noah swear he saw his soul leaves his body.

“Hey, Alec. Are you listening to me? You kept on spacing ou-” Eve pouts, grabbing Alec by the shoulder.

Alec: …(。。*)

“Whoa! What happen?” Eve gasped, turning to Noah. “Noah, Alec is...”

Noah smile: “Let’s give him some space.”

Eve glance over to Alec.

Alec: …(。。*) *mumbling* She thinks I’m scary. She thinks I’m scary.

Eve: “But...”

Noah hands Eve an ice-cream: “He’s okay. Trust me, after you finish this ice-cream he will turn back to normal.”

Eve’s eyes sparkle at the sight of ice-cream. “Okay!”

Noah pats Eve gentle on the head as she focused on her ice-cream. He took a quick glance at Alec, then at Bliss, heaving yet another sigh.

“He may look scary.” Bliss thought of the picture Alec gave her and what happens at the station, a smile blossom on her feature as she continue her sentence. “But, he’s a very nice guy.”

And with that, Alec felt like the sun is rising, birds chirping and flowers are blooming.

When Eve finishes her ice-cream, what she sees worries her.

A random stranger bump into Alec.

Eve braces herself for a violet, gory scene that’s about to happen within the next second, but instead...

Jaw dropped, Eve’s face turned as pale as a ghost, as her trembling hand grabs Noah’s arm.

“No-Noah, I think Alec is sick.”

Normally, when someone bump into Alec, depends on his mood; he either sent the person to a hospital or just beat the person up and throws him in the alley. But now... Eve took another glance at Alec. Why is he all sparkly and shining? And what’s with the flowery and glittery aura? Is this some kind of parallel universe?!

Alec waves at the four when he reach the restaurant.

“Hey guys! Come on, I just got us a table!” Alec ☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ (◠‿◠)ノ✿☆ﾟ.*･｡ﾟ

“Wait for me.”

Bliss and Ethan dash towards him.

Noah is about to follow after them when Eve grabs him by the sleeve.

“Don’t go. That’s not Alec. He’s been replace by a magic robot or something.” Eve warned, with a serious expression on her face.

“...”

“Did you see that flowery, shiny vibe?! That’s not him!” Eve eyes went wide, face paled like she had seen a ghost, “He is giving me the creeps.”

During lunch, Eve is eye-ing Alec suspiciously. Bliss and Ethan are obliviously chatting with the boy.

Noah sip his drink, briefly glances at Alec and Bliss.

Hopefully, this will dies off soon. I don’t you to get hurt, Alec.

“Speaking of which, have you studied for the written test?” Ethan suddenly ask.

“Huh?” Bliss blinks, sipping on her rainbow unicorn smoothie, they’re not really using actual unicorn’s horn to make this right?

“You don’t know? Usually the academy starts of with written test, only half of the applicants will move on to the next stage.”

“Ha-half?!” Bliss gulped, “What area do they test us in?”

“Anything really. There won’t be a specific area.”

“It’s very broad, hard to guess what they will test in.”

Bliss plopped down on the table, eyes welled up in tears. “I’m doom.”
