The music, the dancing girls, the midnight blue sky. The party was everything Kang imagined it would be. For the first time in his life, he felt as though he belonged there. Like he was meant to be there. In the past, Kang and his best friend Mark had gone to parties just like this one but Kang always felt like an outsider.

“I didn't expect so many people to show up,” Kang said to Mark

“Well Maria is popular and she's mostly known for the sick parties she throws” Mark replied

“Wow Maria really is amazing, the fact that she can pull together something like this all by her self,” Kang said with admiration in his voice

Mark rolled his eyes and looked Kang in the eyes and said:

“ Maria this Maria that.. Do you like her or what?”

“ What? No" Kang replied "I don't shes just a friend”

“Well to me lately it seems your life has been all about Maria. You hang with her every day, you go to class together and heck you even organized the party together. Are you guys now besties or what?” Mark said sarcastically
