Dear Diary......
I never told anyone this but. I had always wanted to be buried at sea.
Hear me out. I'm honestly not crazy. I just had a Psyche Assessment last week.
I can't help but fall in love with the ocean.
The way it claps in melody to the shores, how it rolls up to my ankles and sweeps away from my toes, to even the aroma of fresh sand and salt.
As a little girl, I would always find an excuse to take a ferry to go to Staten Island. It involved sharing my nonexistent school notes with my nonexistent classmate who happened to live in Staten Island. We're, quote, BFFs...
... Until mom found out how much money I was spending on her credit card.
An investigation was opened. One thing led to another... There was no BFF.
So she grounded me for a year..... Aaaaaah, good times.
..........
As a growing girl in New York, I had to be prepared for a lot of things. When a drunkard would get me into an accident. When I might get pregnant with a random man's child. Or, you know, work-related accidents. You never know.
Other than the regular insurance, my heart was kind of ready in case the Fates in Athens were itching to cut some strings... Unless they moved to the U.S. (??)
So, having my ashes scattered in the oceans, doesn't bother me one bit.
That's why, I felt so happy floating around right now. At peace, under the sea...
...Hey...wh-why is my body feeling heavy all of a sudden?...GUWOOOH! I-I'M FALLING! I'M REALLY FALLING! WH-WHO TURNED OFF THE ZERO-G CHAMBER! TURN IT BACK ON! BACK OOOOOOOON!
GYAAAAH! I-IT'S TOO DARK! UUGYY! TOO BRIGHT!
SIS! IF YOU TIED ME UP IN MY BLANKETS AND SHOVED A FIRECRACKER BETWEEN MY LEGS AGAIN! I WILL PERSONALLY IRON YOUR HAIR AND--
*FOOMP!*
MANAGIA!
