Little Alda Cassidy’s musical cries drifted across the wind just in time for Seth’s father to look up in shock, but then a small thin smile crept across his face as he brought a long finger to his lips directing Seth to go keep his mouth shut. “Brothers Seth,” Cassidy’s voice seemed to be coming closer, without his expression changing he turned on one foot and took off in mid-sprint to find his cousin before her tiny pure heart burst into a millennium of pieces. She ran right into him knocking him to the ground. Tears were running down her round cheeks, some matting her hair. “Brother Seth, I’m sorry.
Lizipet (she couldn’t quite say her name just yet) didn’t mean it.” Seth smiled grateful and relieved. He had forgotten she was the second who treated him with a little more decency than rotten fruit. A voice, a sweet charming voice came from nearby.
“My dear Seth, are you attempting to seduce my darling baby cousin? I think I may have to rethink my standing with you.” Seth instantly became warm, recognizing Cameron, the only one in the family aside from himself who had a slight French accent, so he tried to raise the child off him, but she quickly sat on his chest. “No,” she had begun to tear up “Big Brother will be my huspand. You can’t have him.”
“Alda Cassidy,” he spoke her name how everyone else would speak Seth’s, but with an added ominous aura, but everything else including his face seemed so serene as he bent down to Cassidy’s level. “How are you going to marry him if you CALL him your brother?” he smiled.
