It all started a few years back when I was 18, life was perfect, I had my whole life laid out for me. I was getting ready to go on a trip with my Parents, to meet Aunt Linda. We were all getting ready everything was packed and we were ready to Aunt Linda's but we had to rest for the night first, as I took my shower I felt light headed but I thought I was just tired from all the packing today, as i got dressed and walked over to my bed I lay down and pull the covers over me as my eyes fall my body started to feel light, before I knew it everything went bright. There was nothing for miles and miles but a bright shinning light at the end. Until my eyes were opened, I was already on the plane with my parents. They were both doing their own things. But as I took another look again it wasn't them. I was on a fancy plane with maids and- I noticed how I was dressed in a beautiful teal dress, with gold and sliver jewels all over the dress. As I looked up I noticed I was being held by a maid. The maid spoke out to me as I saw her  blue sea eyes,

"My king and queen, the princess has woken up", the maid said as she rushed over to my so called parents.

As I looked up to meet the two gazes of my parent, as I looked at my mother for the first time, she had the most beautiful purple eyes and had a full head of white silver hair she look so young with the smooth skin of her's. But when I looked up to meet my father, I only ever saw his eyes, they were something I've never seen before, his eyes were deep red ruby eyes, as I looked at him, I was quite upset to not even be able to get a gaze from him.

"oh dear look what you've done, she's trying to look at your face again, at least give her a chance for once", my mother said as she took me from the maid.

"That child is nothing to me, only Prince Lin is, as he will become the future king the one and only heir to the throne", my father said gazing out the window. 

"oh come on, Fa Lang, just give one look and I'm sure she'll be happy", my mother said as she turned me to face my father with a bright smile on her face.

As I saw my father's face for the first time I was in awe of his handsome and soft looking face he looked quite young for his age, besides his nasty words. As he held me in his arms, there was a warmth and the feeling of comfort from his arms. He looked me in the eyes and called out my name as I had heard it for the first time.

"Ai Chang Lang, you are only here for one reason, that is for you to protect the prince, you are nothing more than a nuisance to me", father said as he looked into my eyes without hesitation. 

I was shocked, I looked to my mother to see that if would protect me from his words she, herself couldn't say a thing as she was in shock as well, before I knew it my own eyes were pouring out tears. As I cried my, father was shocked to see that I understood his words and looked as he thought I was a mindless child. The maid rushed over to take me from my Father's arms, she cradled me in her arms and shushed me to calm down. As I looked at my father once again he was still in shock as he looked away in shame from his own words.

"Fa Lang, how could you say such a thing to your own daughter?" as a man appeared from a seat behind mother and father.

My father turned to see who was the brave soul to speak about such a thing. I myself would've said the same thing If I could.

"Who dares to speak ill of me?!- Oh Ling Fa it was you" Father continued as the man looked at me.

"Ah little Fa Lang why are you still so naive, my little brother respect the little one as they are our future", the man said looking at my father with a kind smile.
