Taking in a breath of air, Yuki sighed, simply feeling the warm breeze flow against the flowers surrounding him as well as off his own cheeks. Lying in the flower fields was always incredibly relaxing. No one barking orders. No one fussing at his choice of clothing.

However there was one thing that could make it better.

Closing his eyes to further relax, the raven haired prince didn't notice the form sneaking up, nor hear the footsteps until a pair of hands were next hovering over his eye lids. “Guess who~” A soft male voice rung melodically through his ears, forcing a smile to creep onto his lips.

There he was. The something better.

“Hmmm~ You sound suspiciously like my dear Ryu. But I can only truly tell by taste alone.” Yuki hummed while reaching out, grasping the smaller male by the wrist, yanking him down gently and switched up his positioning to place himself to hover above the brunet. Shooting the other a victory smile, he leaned down and immediately pressed their lips together for a chaste kiss.

Once escaping only a second later, the form beneath him hooked his partner by the neck and dragged him back before he could escape. “I don’t believe you had enough of a taste. I think you need to taste more of me to fully be certain.” Ryu grinned, also raising his right leg to hook around Yuki's waist. There was no escaping now.

Not that he would ever dream of it.

Chuckling, the larger of the two leaned back in. “Greedy as always. But you are right...I wish to taste more of you…” He immediately locked their lips again in an attempt to satisfy each of their hungers for the other.

But good things never last.

Cue the end of that scene and onto a confused Yuki darting his head around figuring out where he now was.

In the distance, he saw a form smiling towards him, running in his direction with a smile filled with pride, leaving the bodies of his opponents behind him. Yuki smiles warmly back realizing it was his beloved; only to notice an object in the air whizzing by. Noticing it too late, he tried to scream out a warning only to watch Ryu look towards him confused, turn towards the incoming arrow and fall slowly to the ground once contact was made with his chest.

“No...no...not again...this can't be happening again...Ryu!!” Yuki desperately reached out towards the fallen body of his lover. “Ryu no!!!”

His screams carried on into the present as he shot out of his sleep, screaming in terror.

That was right…that was only a memory of what had already happened.

Something he couldn't prevent.

The loss of the only thing that mattered to him.

Sighing, he face-palmed and shook in surprise at the awakening of the body next to him. “Mmm...your highness are you okay?”

Oh right. Again he bought someones company to keep his bed warm. How many times had he done this since? Too many to count. Countless men and women shared his bed but none ever lasted more than one night. “Just a nightmare…”

“Your highness!!” A loud voice boomed as his door was thrusted open. Immediately the owner of the voice blushed, noticing the woman beside his prince topless and turned his head. “Ahem...madam I will have to ask you to clothe yourself and leave...Yuki has some matters to attend to.”

“Ah yes right away.” Rushing, the commoner girl pulled her clothes on and made her way to the door, shooting Yuki a smile. “This was fun your highness. Please ask for me again.” And left.

“You won't be seeing her again will you?”

“Nope.”

“Figures. Now if you would please clothe yourself and meet me outside.” This man was Yuki's ‘baby sitter’ and caretaker, Tatsu. A middle aged man who served as the caretaker to the duo princes as they grew up. However seeing how Yuki's elder brother, Sal was already married with children he needed only watch over the younger of the two. Not to mention Tatsu had a mighty fine mustache and bald head, both he took care of daily.

Groaning the raven haired man curled up in an attempt to push away the horrid nightmare he had been plagued with for the past year.

Ever since the incident he let himself go. Whoring himself out to anyone who needed the extra cash or who wished to bed him. He ate less. He slept less. He felt like a part of him was lost when he lost Ryu.

Was this how he would end up living the rest of his life?
