“Kang!” Maria called out

“Hey” Kang replied quickly

“I was looking for you everywhere. Why are you not hanging with the squad?” Maria asked as she grabbed Kang's hand.

“I was with my friend. Maria this is Mark my best friend” Kang said as he pointed at Mark

“Oh so if he's your best friend then what am I to you?” Maria asked blankly

Mark raised his eyebrows. He had failed to understand the comment Maria had just made

“Uhm well you're my best friend too friend” Kang replied awkwardly

“No Kang, I'm your best friend. Now come on everyone's waiting.” Maria replied with a smile on her face while looking at Mark

Mark rolled his eyes and followed Maria and Kang who went upstairs to the bedrooms. Once they got there he saw most of Maria's friends and in the corner with a couple of guys was Serg. The guy who broke his best friend's heart looking as handsome as ever. Mark had intended to leave the party sooner but with a night like this one, he didn't want to miss any of the drama ahead.
