When the guards picked us up they took us straight to the capital, as most refugees are taken. The capital city Urian was Halomtano's most fortified and wealthy city. One of the nicest places to live in the continent, if you could earn your stay. Most refugees like us were brought to Urian to regroup and have sometime to think, then generally leave for smaller cities and villages. Kaya and I got lucky to stay inside the great sprawling city, but not lucky enough to be inside the walls. 

     One of the brothels outside of the wall had spotted me and Kaya heading back out of the wealthy district. The manager scooped up Kaya in her arms and began praising her.

"My girl what potential you have. Your'e so pretty already." She gave me a couple glances as I stood there confused, and continued with Kaya. "Come girl we have a large family you can come live with us" I studied the woman, she was short, she had gold colored hair that seemed to be dimming. This just helped me to see that she past her young days, she was older, not elderly, but maybe mid life. Her breasts and behind were unaturally large. And she was wearing quite a tight dress as well.

"Not without my brother" Kaya told her as she pushed herself of the woman's chest.

The woman was surprised but, that face quickly changed to plesantries again "Of course" she took my hand and we began walking towards a large faded red building. "Come now" the woman said as we walked " My name is Mrs. Lucielle, what are your names."

     Kaya thought about it for a moment then decided "Im Kaya, and thats little brother, are you going to let us live with you?" Mrs. Lucielle quickly responded "Of course, but we are going to have to work together on diffeent things around the home, is that alright?" Again Kaya thought, but only for a moment, "Sure!"

     And like that we had a new life we stayed at the brothel with Mrs. Lucielle. We met many different woman who all treated us well, as if we were family. Many men came through, sometimes new, some we saw every few days. They would go into rooms with the women and you could hear noises that a child didnt quite understand.  But Mrs. Lucielle assured us everything was fine and took care of us when there was rude men. For Mrs. Lucielle we cleaned the large house, ran to the market and bought food, and washed all the dirty clothes. We did all our chores as usually, and were happy to have a family, food, and a place to eat.

     And thats how we lived in Urian for, if Im counting correctly, thirteen years.
