"God damn it Lucielle! Im nearly 24 years old and you can't trust me with this one little thing?!?" Kaya is being unusually loud today, something must have her really mad. But it makes sense, Lucielle is running out of money and some wealthy interior guy is trying to buy up the brothel. It's been 13 years since we moved in with Lucielle, and I think we have grown close. Kaya and I still keep up on our chores, and I think Lucielle sees us as her own, that is probably why she ended up never putting Kaya to work as one of the brothel ladies. I was sitting at the bench outside of Lucielle's bedroom that she turned into an office. Kaya was in there arguing with Lucielle to let her deal with the buyer. Saying something about how she was going to run he business went Lucielle retires so she should start practicing.
The door flew open as Kaya marched out I could tell she was angry. She grabbed my hand and began walking me back to our room. I looked back to check on Lucielle, who was now much visibly older than when we first met, she gave me a worried but strong smile to let me know everything was fine, so I kept walking with Kaya. She pulled me around the corner into one of the small doors in the back. Our room was small, we shared a bunk bed that sat across from the window, and we had chest that had our belongings.
"Here Little Brother, I got some nice clothes for you" as she handed me some pants and a shirt. They were nice, I had seen some of the poorer aristocrats wear this. "Put it on, I will change into mine." She was holding a nice dress. She pulled the curtain hanging from the bed to the wall to separate us as we changed, she changed away from the window because we didn't have shutters. I never minded people looking at me, it wasn't unusual to see a poo naked man in the streets anyways.
I was still getting dressed when Kaya grabbed me from behind the curtain. "Oh come Little Brother, hurry up!" I followed out of our bedroom as she headed to the front door. We passed the ladies working in the brothel, all of them were close enough to us as well.
"Looking good Little Brother" "Nice dress Kaya" "Headed out?" "Stay safe"
All the woman called out to us we headed out for the day. Before leaving we stopped at the mirror in the main waiting area so to speak. I could see Kaya in her tight dress gray dress as she leaned over to fix my shirts buttons. Kaya had long light brown hair, a sharp, pretty, and strong face, that came with green eyes to match mine. She stood back to see both of us in the mirror with her arms at her hips. I maybe could have been attractive to girls hadI not been so badly burned. My black hair was kept short and scruffy, but Kaya had me comb it when we woke up. The clothes were tight on me, as I am much bigger than most men. My face still had the burn scars on its left side which stopped the hair grow on the side of my head and sideburns. My eyes just watched Kaya for what to do next, as usual.
"What? Don't we look good?" I usually never responded to these types of conversations. "Hmmpf, never one for words, huh, Little Brother."
"LITTLE BROTHER, WE HAVE A ROW-" I could hear the screaming of one of the ladies that had just taken a man into the room followed by a loud slap. I looked at Kaya because I usually took care of these situations.
"Well hurry up then."
