How long must I wait?

An hour? A day?

Must you take so long to respond?

A week? A month? A year?

You require me to drop it all,

and run to you at a snap of a finger.

Yet, when asked to do the same,

you laugh and turn your back.

How long do you expect me to wait?

I'm tired and done with the games.

Now it's my turn to leave you waiting.
