"Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy, Oy....."
And on and on whoever was in this room with me went. It wasn't a dungeon cell, I was in a bed covered with blankets, and the room was lit, t least bright enough that I could make it out. My hands were bound with rope, so apparently I was still being held prisoner. But fr now I didn't want to deal with that, or the man in the room with me who was still going on. I was still grieving for Kaya. Though I didn't sob, I felt the pain in my chest, I didn't want her to be gone, I wanted to deny it. But pain is the same in any form, and I had to let it run its course. But I could do something about the cause of the pain. I am a logical person, I knew I couldn't bring Kaya back, I know she would've wanted me to figure what to do about y situation, but I know only had one thought. To kill King Luan.
The best way to do this, is to figure out what Im doing here. I sat up and opened my eyes to see the man sitting in a chair to small for him in corner of the wooden room. It was a small room, as big as a room at the brothel, only with the bed and chair the man was sitting on with a couple of mounted wall candles. I looked at the man who was sitting in a corner closes to the door, he was dressed in royal guard uniform, even with the armor you could tell how well sculpted his body was. He was thinner than me, and a bit shorter, but still bigger than your average. Looking at his face you could tell he had a little bit of age, but he was still in his prime. His face was quite confusing. Looking at him he seemed very friendly, a clean shaven face, neatly trimmed light brown hair, and a crooked nose, probably broken at some point. He had a warm smile on his face, and his body language was unthreatening. It was his dark blue eyes, they seemed to be searching me, but not my features, but my soul.
All of sudden the guard seemed to snap out of it, his eyes changed back to that of a human. He reached out his hand and introduced himself.
"Mornin sunshine, I heard you don't talk too much, but that's okay we can do 3 sentences a day. My name is Galland, I will be your handler."
It was a surprising introduction, he put his hand on his lap after he saw I wasn't in the mood. Thats when it hit me that those eyes were all too familiar. He was the guard who had been watching me, then assaulted me. I slightly tensed thinking about it. He must of caught on.
"Oh don't worry about it, the fights all over, anyways in reality I saved you from execution." After seeing my questioning look he continued. "I explained that you would be a valuable asset, especially since I would be in charge and whatever temper tantrum you throw does alot of damage." Again I questioned him. "Well clearly you're not in control when you do that, its like a demon takes you over, pretty funny if you think about it.
I wasn't amused.
"Oh well, if you don't believe wait ten minutes, the King wants you in the ring right now to prove you aren't that good" he told me as he headed to the door. "Has you fighting three prisoners on death row, go free if they win, I mean if they manage to survive." I just looked at him in confusion, to this he laughed.
"Come on now, go with this and you can piss off King Luan, I couldn't imagine why you wouldn't want that right now." He told me with an evil grin on his face.
