Chapter – 9
The last image that my mind had conjured, evanesced as my eyes opened wide; the small memory of the dream that I had had that was left in my recollection was now gone forever. And I would continue this day believing that what I had last night was a dreamless sleep.
Thoughts didn’t occur to me for some time and I lay there, thoughtless and peaceful till my brain decided to function. My eyes scanned the dimly lit room, causing no strain to my sleep deprived eyes. Familiar bookshelf and familiar clothes came into my line of vision and I gave sigh of relief.
My clothes rubbed against my body, the feel of fabric evident on my skin.
I wondered, had last night been a dream?
I was clothed and clean and in my own room.
I often got confused between dreams and real memories. But the memories of last night were too vivid in my brain to pass as figments of imagination.
Warm hands trailing down my sides, my flustered cheeks, the hot breath on my face, my lips caught between someone’s teeth. I could relive those memories anytime I wanted, that is how deeply they had been imprinted in my brain.
Definitely, not a dream.
I was well aware that I had to leave the bed sometime, open the door and confront the reality; better sooner than later.
Even the tiniest sound in this huge and empty house was like a thunderbolt that had struck. Thus, the slight creak of the door made me jump in fear.
I turned my head left and right to be prepared for any unwanted encounters but the place had no trace of anyone. Finally, something good. I happily descended the stairs and made my way to the kitchen.
My mind was on the verge of collapsing and so was my body due to all the new information and feelings it had. If I were ever going to make my way through that, I needed a sandwich.
I took the ingredients out of the fridge and with utmost loved I placed them on the counter. The awareness of the fact that I was about to devour a sandwich which I was right now making pushed all the other thoughts aside, and made me unaware of my surroundings
Hands were places on the counter entrapping me in the small space, palms flattened. My legs gave away in panic and I almost landed on the floor. But I mustered whatever willpower I had and stood upright.
Hot breath fanned on my neck and my ear turned red. I had no reservations, it was Hayden. His stuff came in contact with my ass. My strong posture was broken by his grinding and now I was holding onto the counter for support.
“You know, before I could finish last night, you passed out.”
I was too distracted to say anything and kept my mouth shut. Nor did I know what I should’ve said.
“How about we finish, now?”
I was gritting my teeth, abusing my lower lip doing everything I could to remain in my senses and not give in like I had last night.
‘No!” I yelled. Hayden immediately backed off.
My emotions were so foggy, I was dazed by everything around me. Hayden tried to reach out to me but I ran with all my might with tears in my eyes.
Forgive me for this short chapter, I have a big exam on Saturday. I had to update this short chapter because I have fallen from all charts, my subscribers had been steady at about 10 per day have gone down to almost zero. I was so disheartened :'(
I have tried a more refined writing style, tell me if you enjoy it or not <3
