(Selenite's point of view)
She was right. It sounded insane. But the more she explained the more puzzle pieces fit into place. How she knew I was hungry, knowing a couple was behind us, feeling the neighbors injury. As crazy as it sounded it made sense. “You said she doesn't like people?” She nodded “Then why am I here?” The mother looked as clueless as I was. If you could feel others emotions then why would you drag another person closer to you? Just then the door opened and a person im assuming was Amisia’s father walked in. He did a double take when he saw me sitting at the kitchen counter. On instinct he greeted me “Um…… Hi?” I nodded, “Hello, sir.” Amisia’s mother started explaining the situation. After she was done explaining the story of how their daughter brought some random girl home like a stray cat Amisia had finished helping the helping the neighbor and had reapered. “Hi, dad. You feel confused and stressed. What's wrong?” Wow. Seeing it done was amazing. She’s amazing. She glanced at me and tilted her head, “You're less hungry. That's good. But why do you feel amazement? Am I that good at making sandwiches?” She sat down next to me and held my hand. Her parents stared at our entwined hands in amazement. Her mother spoke first "Okay, you've never voluntarily gone and talked to a person. Let alone dragged them home. What is this?” The father nodded in agreement, “Ya, we need an explanation.” Amisia took a deep breath and held up our entwined hands like they were important, “I don't know why. But when im close or in physical contacted with Selenite something about us being together allows me to feel my own emotions and even control to a degree what emotions I feel from people.” So that's why she refuses to let go of me. Her parents stared at her in shock. I grasped her hand tighter.
