Hailee

I sat on the fence looking at the house next door. It had been empty since the day the leaves started falling. My tail swished around in the still hot air. My housefolk opened the door and yelled my name. I flattened my ears and jumped off the fence. I stuck up my tail and stalked through the small door.

An unfamiliar scent hit me and I woke up. I padded outside. A tom was sitting on my fence. I hissed and puffed up my tortoiseshell fur. 

"Sorry I am in your yard. I wanted to survey most of my yard..." he jumped back over to his yard.

"Get out and stay out!" I hissed loudly. I yowled at him and he slunk back into his yard. I looked out at the forest. The warm musty scents of mice and birds floated into my nose. I jumped down into the forest. The brown leaves crackled underpaw. I walked out into the forest wondering where the hell that tom had come from.
