when we got back in we were greeted by someone standing outside of the door of the room. They looked like they were looking for someone. We decided to ask them if they were ok. They saw us and seemed to back off for a second. Then they stopped and watched us from a few doors down. We thought that that was very weird. We walked into the room and the doctors came in and checked my stitches.

 He said that we would be able to leave soon. Mom started to talk to them and they walked out to the hallway I laid down and stared out of the window. Allister came back later after mom left. I asked if he was watching us from the hallway early. “No, I would have been with you if I was watching you.” I shook my head. “Hm I wonder who that was then.” he looked at me. “You shouldn’t wonder so much. It can be dangerous.” 

I slowly nodded my head. “Ok, I will try to be careful.” After a while, I fell asleep. Allister was watching me. I woke up to a very loud noise in the hallway. I jumped and sat up. I looked around. Allister was by the door. He looked at me and motioned for me to be quiet. I nodded and laid back down. I pretended to be asleep. The door opened and someone tried to walk in. 

Allister confronted them. They looked like a doctor but there was something off about them. they were covered in blood. They lunged at Allister, something stopped them. Allister kicked them back. “Allister, what is going on?” He looked at me. “they have come to finish the job. they came back for you. clearly, they found out that you weren’t at home. So they came here.”

 He walked over to me. “Get on my back. we need to leave.” I looked at him like he was crazy. “Come on just get on.” I climbed on his back and we left the room. there were quite a few vampires in the hallways. We ran into at least one in every other hallway. Allister was trying to make sure they didn’t locate us. we made our way to the staircase. 

Once inside we started to go faster. When we reached the main floor Allister looked out of the door to see if the area was clear. He saw a few vampires walking around looking for us. “They must really want to find us. They aren’t giving up.” I nodded. “I think we will need to move they will search the stairwell soon.” he looked back and nodded. “There is a back door we can go out of. But it will alert them and there might be more outside.” I looked around.
