“I have been coming to this hospital since I was little. I know the place inside and out. Their is a secret room around here somewhere.” Allister looked at me. “How do you know?” I looked at him.

“Because i'm the one that made it.” He started to walk. “Point where we are going.” I pointed to a wall under the staircase. “The door is on that wall. I just need to remember how to open it.” He walked over and felt the wall. “It was when I was little so it would have been something a child could find. But somewhere an adult wouldn't look.” I reached under the last step and I heard a small click.

Signaling that the door unlocked. “Their... now push.” he opened the wall to a room big enough for two people to hide comfortably. Their were blankets laying on the floor. “I made this place so I had somewhere to go when I was scared.”A hospital wasn't exactly the best place for a little kid to be left alone. Too many things could happen. Allister looked at me. “Did something happen when you were little.” I looked at him.

I nodded. “Yes but I can't remember it perfectly. It is all a big headache to think about.” he looked at the door. “Tell me what happened. I want to hear it.” I looked at him. He seemed to really want to know. I looked at the ceiling. “Well it was the first time I had an encounter with a vampire. I was in my room crying. Because my parents left me alone. They had to go and take care of my sister.” I sat back.

“Someone came in the room and I remember I stopped crying.” he looked at me. “Do you know who entered the room?” I shook my head. “No I can't remember anything about their face or features.” He looked back at the door. “Anyways They told me to stop crying. They sat in the room till I stopped. A doctor came in and the man hid in a dark corner of the room. He told me to be quiet.” I looked at Allister.

“The next thing I know was the man was behind the doctor and had killed him. I can't remember anything about how or why. He was covered in blood and I ended up running out of the room to hide.” I looked at Allister. “He chased me and caught me. He was a vampire but he didn't harm me. He just killed the doctor. The doctors body was gone when he took me back. I was scared. He actually stayed there till I fell asleep.”

He looked at me suddenly. “What made you fall asleep.” I looked at him. “Um my body I was running on four hours of sleep then.” he nodded. He seemed even more on edge now. “Allister what is it?” He told me to shush. I did and he whispered to me. “I can hear them out in the stairwell.” I nodded. “I could have sworn I heard something from over here.” Me and Allister stopped breathing.

“I think you were imagining it. Now let's get back to our posts. The others should be done searching the floors soon. They will have to show up eventually.” I looked at Allister. “Ya he can't hide the kid from him forever. They will have to show up eventually.”
