“Yes they will. Unlike us they have limited resources.” I was wondering who He was. Allister looked at me. “Come on let's get going. He will be here soon then their is nothing that man can do.” I seen a look cross Allisters face.

We stayed quiet a while longer. Till we heard footsteps leaving. Allister whispered. “Ok they are gone now. It is safe to talk.” I looked at him. “Who were they talking about? Why won't you be able to stop him?” Allister sat back and looked at me. “His name is Tomas. It was rumored that a few years ago he finally found his mate.” I was confused. “Ok I will explain. Vampires like any other supernatural creature have a mate.”

He frowned. “They only ever get one true mate. They will do anything to keep them alive. Even if that means killing them. It is a dangerous thing to be a mate especially one to a vampire.” He looked at me.“You happen to be the mate to one of the scariest vampires I have ever come in contact with.” I looked at him. “Will he be able to find me?” He looked at me. “If you are in danger then he will instantly know where you are.”

I nodded. “So he will be able to find us.” He looked at me. “He will not stop until he has you with him or you are dead.” I looked at him. He had a dead serious look on his face. “Which will you chose? Life or death.” I was starting to get scared. “Why are you acting like this all of the sudden?” there was a loud noise from outside the room. “I swear I keep hearing talking over here. I wonder if they are hidden around here.”

“Dude we need to go great him. He is almost here.” there was another loud thud. “Ya we will find her as soon as he is here.” I listened as they left again. Allister was closer to me. “Allister?” I pushed myself against the wall.“Allister answer me.” He had a different look about him. He got closer and raised a hand. He was holding a sharp object. The door suddenly opened causing me to fall back. I fell into someone. I got up and ran away from Allister.

I ran into someone's chest and they wrapped their arms around me. I looked up to see the man from all of those years ago. He was holding me protectively. He was looking in the direction of Allister. Who looked confused and mad at the same time.The man looked at me. “Don't worry your safe now.” I looked into his eyes and I felt like I was in deep space. His eyes reminded me of a clear night sky. Full of many different colors. He kissed my wrist.

He smiled and picked me up. “My precious queen will protect you forever.” he looked back at allister. “For keeping my mate safe I will let you live, on the condition you leave us alone and never try to harm me or her again.”
