She smiled. “Thank you.” I smiled. I'm glad that she is happy. We need to figure out who is hunting her family and why. I pulled up to my house. Annabelle looked at in in aw. I can tell why. It looks like a giant castle. Technically it was but it is my home now. I gained it after my latest victory over another vampire clan. We have wars every so often. We fight for land and pride. I am now the most respected and powerful clan leader.

Even so it will still be hard to find the killer. Especially seeing as other clans don't give up information on their members. Even with my power it is going to be difficult. “Tomas is this your house?” I nodded. “Yes I won it in a battle against my enemy. He was childish to challenge me. I had many years on him and more power.” she nodded. “So this is my new home?” I nodded. “Yes this is home now. Shall we go inside and take a tour.”

She nodded. “Yes I don't want to get lost.” I smiled. We got out of the car and walked up to the house. One of my servants came outside and took my keys. Annabelle looked at me. “Don’t worry they won’t do anything to you. If they do they have to deal with me.” she nodded and we walked inside. I gave her a tour of the place then showed her to her room. She will have her own room till she gets more comfortable here.

---Annabelle’s p.o.v.--- 

After the tour of the house Tomas left me in my room. I was nervous being somewhere new by myself. It was new for me. I haven't really been anywhere by myself in a long time. It was strange. It was a Big room. There were some things in here. There was a big bed, a desk, dresser, and a bookshelf that took up the whole wall. There was also a window seat. 

It looked nice. There was a knock on my door. I walked over and peaked out. It was a stranger. “Who are you?” they looked at me. “I am Midnight a maid I was sent to ask you if you are hungry.” I nodded. “Yes.” she smiled. She came back a few minutes later and set down a tray with hot food on it. 

There was a glass of water as well. I thanked her and she left the room. I sat there and ate the food. I looked out the window and seen the forest. It was very deep. I sighed and then there was another knock on my door. I looked over and someone opened the door.
