I re-entered my own consciousness to the sound of screaming. My view came back into a dark seen, both the amount of light and the grotesque situation. I straddled over the body of one of the men I remember fighting, the club was pounded in to the ground where his head should be, and crushed under that was his skull and contents of his brain smashed into the little shape that the head still held. The blood was pooled on the ground and sprayed around in spatters, I could feel the blood dripping down my body, both my own and not. I started feeling the pain from the attacks I must have taken, including the large gash on the palm of my hand and the wound on my back. My eye was swelling and my ears were ringing yet I heard the screaming continue.

     I looked around until I looked into the fire, which is where I found the source of the screaming. One of the man was struggling and flailing around in the fire, it was enveloping his body and very obviously burning him alive. He was stuck to one of the burning logs with his sword lodged in his leg pinning him to the wood. I was starting to notice that my body was steaming, I must've put him there while I was out. That is when I realized it.

     This was the first time I had ever felt so clear. I don't remember what my body did after I passed out, but I remember that I did. I also had the strong feeling that I did all this, unlike the last couple of times. Looking back now, this when I first acknowledged my Beast.

     I heard a thump behind me and spun around to see Galland, my body was tired and injured, so that quick movement knocked me to the ground. Galland must have dropped down fro the king's viewing box like he did before. He was now moving towards me, clapping and smiling, those eyes that could startle a bull were gone, making him look genuinely happy. Once he reached me he pulled me to my feet and held me steady, he could probably tell my legs wanted to give out. "You did great kid, I told you were gonna see whatever is locked up inside." Galland said to me while laughing. I nodded because I was finally understanding him. He turned around and looked towards King Luan, who was standing up and looking at us, I couldn't tell if he was happy or angered. 

    Before turning around and leaving he said to us "Galland he is all yours, train him." he exclaimed "Make him something worth while." H headed out the royal viewing box with his guards behind him. Galland turned to me and smiled "You see that kid we did it." I grunted and he turned me towards the caged door. "I never caught your name kid" I shrugged at him, I wasn't exactly his little brother. "Ah we can figure out before you start your training." I nodded and he helped me to the door.

     As we made our way towards the door I saw the last man I was fighting. His stomach was opened up and you make out his insides. He was praying and begging for his life. "Awww shut up!" Galland told the man as he plunged his boot into his face.
