Intermission
In the world there are many ‘hunters’ some are ‘humans’ who hunt the supernatural regardless of their ‘race’ and power all in the name of ‘protecting’ the human race.
In the ages before the ‘modern’ world that is today, the most hunted races were the Lycans (One of the ‘pure’ breeds of Werewolves that will be explained still later on) Vampires and Witches and Warlocks.
But not all ‘hunters’ are humans rather there are several groups consisting of supernatural beings that hunt other supernaturals.
In this quick recess it will be revealed the ‘hunters’ that are to be feared; the top 3.
Starting on the bottom of the list are the Knights. Throughout history, many orders had been created in various countries to hunt down and protect its citizens from the ‘monsters’ that roam the night, these crusaders were often referred to as ‘Knights’ – Humans who are seers but possess no other abilities.
Knights were often lead by a ‘Supernatural’ a Human with other gifts other than that of sight – a Witch or Warlock that was revered to as a ‘priest’ or ‘priestess’.
Other countries had their own names for ‘holy people’, but anyone that didn’t carry that title was ultimately killed as being possessed by ‘demons’, namely Witches and Warlocks – this was in an attempt to ensure that they ‘remained’ in power and no one could question them or rebuke them for what they did.
Then there are the Sage Hunters. These are a group of Humans who capture and ‘feast’ on stronger ‘unique’ supernaturals to gain their powers (these humans obviously are witches and warlocks – and it is often one of 'them' who are commanding a position to an order of Knights)
Among the races there are rare cases where one is born with powers not related to their ‘species’ like a Werewolf who can use 'magic' and it is these beings who are often hunted - Vampires that can walk in daylight, witches able to see through space and time, mer-folk that can walk on land, etc - But more commonly are the Fae, who are creatures that rarely ever show themselves but have a strange ‘pull’ towards humans and more so to humans who have the gift of sight. By ‘consuming’ their blood the Sage Hunters believe they can inherit the power these ‘extraordinary’ have – but it is only temporally and the effects wear off after a week or so (depending on how much they use the powers they’ve gained)
Lastly are the Blood Hunters – no one knows who they are, only that they aren’t ‘human’. Some even believe they are a Pack of rogues who work alongside other supernaturals and since they never leave any trace they have always been a mystery.
Circulating amongst a few authoritative figures is that Blood Hunters hunt 5 types of ‘prey’ that is ‘Cursed red eyes’, ‘Moon Wolves’, ‘Lycans’, Sage Hunters (After multiple covens associated with them have been completely wiped out without a trace leaving only mutilated corpses) and Vampires and their ‘half-breeds’.
