“Thank you. Um so. I was wondering why you don't live in the village. Wouldn't it be better for you and everyone?” He stopped briefly. "No, I can keep a better eye out for bandits from outside the town." "Oh ok. I guess that makes sense." I frowned cause I knew that wasn't the reason. “So want to come meet my family?” He seemed to be hesitant. “I don't know.” I smiled. “Oh come on we don't bite.” He looked confused. “What is that supposed to mean?” “It means that we aren't savages.” He makes an oh shape with his mouth. “So how about it want to come over and meet my pack?” He stopped. “Pack? You mean family right?” I just nod. “Come on. Let's go.” He followed me to my house. I opened the door and was tackled by some of the pups. “Hello to you too. Come on get off we have a visitor.” Samuel looked a bit startled. “Its ok they aren't a threat unless I am threatened by you.” he seemed to relax a bit but not much. “Sorry, they place looks empty. We are expecting our furniture to come in soon.” He looks around. “This is a nice place who planned the layout?”
I smiled. “I planed the house structure and protection. I even made a cave in the basement for my pack.” he nodded. “Come on want to see the rest of the house?” He nodded. “Ok, let's go.” I walked him thru the house explaining the purpose of every room.
We walked down to the basement. “Here is where the extra rooms are. They are supposed to be for storage, training, and studying. I have an interest in learning magic. I have the ability but I haven't found anyone to teach me.” I frown. “Why don't you ask Lucinda. I'm sure she would gladly do it. I nodded. “Maybe I will ask her. Can you introduce me sometime?” He nodded. “Sure. What are you going to do with the training area?” I laugh. “I was training in my last village to be the best sword and archer. So that I could defend my family and village. I still want to learn but there isn't a lot of people who can teach me.” “If you want I could train you.” I turned around. “Realy? You would do that?” He nodded. “Shure I have to train Samantha anyways. If you want we can train here.” I smiled “Ya that would be perfect. Gives me more time to get to know Samantha better also.” I was happy. “Hey, come on let's go talk to her. I need to ask her something.” He followed behind me. He seemed to be shy at first. But after a while, you can get him to open up and talk.
