Chapter 3: The Overture of Violence’s Wrath.

“That time is now upon us, that time, which all the pieces will come out of hiding to fight the absolution that I have wrought to this falsified world. Yes Allen, this falsified world must be torn asunder and rebuild in our imagine, for we are the chosen savior for the end of time.” Allen whispers to himself, as he walks down the busy city road yet again with the void of nothingness following behind him; destroying everything in its wake. Allen’s laugh echoes through the city of fleeing people.

“You had no idea what was happening here Mr. Blair, and we wanted to keep it that way, but now that you have came in contact with Allen Morre, I am afraid that you can not be allowed existence in this reality any longer.”

The figure stood up from the chair at the table then disappeared, so I just walked over to the sink, poured me a glass of water and sat down in the chair that the stranger was in. I sipped for a few minutes just trying to comprehend how crazy this day has been. I finish off the last gulp then place the cup back in the sink, and as I turned around to walk back up stairs to my bed; a massive ten foot, spider like robot busted through the kitchen wall and stopped behind me.

I looked around to the the gaping hole in my newly payed off house when my attention turned to this intruder. I grabbed its head and ripped it off its arachnid body, and soon after; that enraged feeling came back in a rush, as my body turned into darkness. I grabbed one of the spider’s legs and ran out side; dragging the limp body behind; I flung it towards the city, but as my vision began to clear I noticed that the void of nothingness was back; ripping the city to shreds once again.

Seeing all this chaos triggered my rage to go into over-kill, as I felt my body begin to morph and twist, while my rage peaks. I become a rampaging monster of darkness; no feelings, no remorse, no pity for this false world. I then run down the street; each step with my feet cracks and breaks the pavement, and soon I feel the urge to destroy everything on my way to the city that it’s calling aloud. I rush into one of the neighborhood houses and wreck the inside then bust out of the side and land into the next in line. Each house I destroy makes my body bigger, and my strength grow, until I myself was the size of a small one story house.

At this point I just start ramming through each house; leaving a trail of destruction on my way down the neighborhood. I become lost in my joy-filled fury, and soon I find myself at the edge of the city. I begin walking slow at this point, as the fleeing cowards trying to exit the city find me at the end. They get caught in a paradox of what to do; will they face the monster before them or run back to the void consuming the city. The stress of this choice was too much for them to bare, so they simply fell to their knees and covered their heads. I guess that is all weaklings truly know how to do when faced against great evil such as Allen Morre and I.

The sky suddenly turned bright white as time itself froze. The innocent cowards were then lifted into the air and disappeared before my eyes. I was confused on what was happening when what looked to be a meteor crashed in the heart of the city. The shock-wave knocked me off my feet, and onto the hard pavement. I stood back to my feet to see a bright angelic figure in the distance. I took off running; making the ground shake at my feet, and as I got closer the figure turned it attention towards me.

Its eerie, bright blue glowing eyes pierced through me, and brought back a feeling I had long forgotten; fear. I suddenly lose my balance, and stumble to the ground, and as this angelic monster walks to me; I find myself backing away from it. The angel begins to laugh then its eyes burn an intense blue that fades my darkness away. It continues to walk towards me in a slow pace, because I was the one terrified this time. The angel stops and suddenly looks terrified itself, and as it turned around Allen was standing before it with his eyes burning a demonic red. Allen grabbed its throat and lifted it into the the air as the thick, black strip across his mask suddenly moved like a mouth.

“You have been a thorn in my side since before I gained a vessel in this reality.”

Allen’s smile suddenly went back to being solid when he gripped on the angel’s neck and I saw it turn into wife-frame and break into pieces; the broken pieces fell to the ground and turned into ones and zeros then faded away. Allen turned to me, and shook his head before he leaned his head down then walked away; leaving me alone. I stood to my feet and turned to walk the other way filled with shame at how cowardly I allowed myself to become; I, who once faced a god of darkness.

My walk back home was long, and my steps heavy; I was not the warrior Allen had wanted after all. I become overwhelmed with such emotion of sorrow, and soon a tear rolls down my cheek. I stop in my mourning, and look to the sky to see an angel hovering above me; suddenly more appear around me; until i am engulfed by white, feathery winged angels. They all gaze at me, as if they are waiting for me to attack, but for some reason my rage is gone; I do not have the will to fight them, I simply stand there, as if I am a statue.

One angel gracefully lands before me, and as the vivid light fades; I see the angel that tried to take me away before I became a monster of destruction. She places her hand on my cheek, but did not attempt to attack or trap me; it seems she simply wanted to allow me to feel her touch on my skin. I bust out into tears, and she hugs me tightly, and whispers into my ear.

“I know the pain of your past life; the moment you took my hand your past appeared to me in a fury, a rush of memories; long forgotten by their captor. Those sweet memories made me want to give you that life you have been denied for so long; thus, I wanted to take you away from that evil monster that desires nothing but ruin to this paradise created for all of us.”

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest, and as I look down; I see the tip of a dagger that had been thrust into my back piercing through my heart. I cough up blood, while my knees become weak, but there is no anger, nor fear towards these angels of mercy before me. My eyes-lids become heavy as the night sky begins to fade, but before I close my eyes for the last time; I see the weeping, bright green eyes of that beautiful angel; shedding her tears; just for me. I feel my body begin to disappear, as the final words of the angels speaking in unison burn into my final moment.

“Such is, as it is, and will never be, as if there was something to be, yet nothing ever came, but those thoughts of immortality shall corrupt, while those illusions of existence cloud the mind to the true purpose of everything that is happening around one’s vessel. You have died in vain, for those truths you could not comprehend were indeed the reality of this, yet the ultimate question you shall never know now is; who was the speaker of truth.”

Vance’s body turned to wire-frame and broke apart into the sidewalk, which then turned to ones and zeros that faded from memory. The angels then all started to giggle and chuckle to their victory over the beast by means of deception. Suddenly ten angels turned to wire-frame and fell into the rough pavement shattering into ones and zeros. The angels turned around to see Allen and Vance standing before them. Allen and Vance began to give an evil laugh at the angels confusion at what is happening. The remaining angels tried to move, but couldn’t; they were froze in place like statues. Allen stepped forward and spoke softly.

“For you foolish angels believe you are the masters of deceptions, the masters of this falsified reality of well placed, well constructed, web of lies. We knew you would attack the innocent, the weak minded, the frail, as Vance had witnessed himself, for you all must be cleansed of your role in this reality, for this my world now.”

Allen’s eyes glowed an intense demonic red as all the remaining angels melted to wire-frame, and broke apart into ones and zeros on the pavement. Allen and Vance look at each other and share a combined silence before they both disappear leaving nothing but an echoing laughter behind.
