Zeke is over at my house playing video games that aren't DragonKnight Saga, but honestly, I think after playing two hours of video games, I've never seen him so drained and tired in my entire life. "Hey, You alright Zeke?" I asked in concern. "I'm fine, just tired. I was helping Ashley with clubs after school and that took forever." His eyes couldn't keep open any longer. "Just fall asleep no one is here to judge but us," I said. "Are you still worried about people judging us?" Asks Zeke. "Only a little, but I mostly worry about my so-called father," I confessed and he immediately fell asleep on my shoulder. "I wasn't finished with the point I was making, but what's done is done" I grabbed a book and started reading it, then changed the tv back to the satellite. but before I could I heard a knock on the door. He's back already?! "Come in!" I yelled and the door opened to reveal my so-called father. "How are you son? See you invited a friend over" he said. "Yeah I did he got tired, so I told him he could sleep," I answered as he unpacked groceries. "Well that's nice of you, anyways I'm gonna cook dinner if you want any." He's just acting nice for the hell of it.

"On News 11, DragonKnight Saga has been announced out of Beta and officially released to the public in Wyoming, California, and Japan. The device you have with the game, beta users this will still work and the game immediately updates" I turned off the tv and woke Zeke. "What?" Zeke questioned and yawned. "It's getting late" I got up off the couch at sat at the table. "Staying for dinner?" I questioned trying to act natural while this jerk attempts to be a parent. "Thanks, but I have to get home to my mother, she's probably worried, so I'll see you around on Monday" Zeke then exited the house and shut the door behind him.

"So? Let me guess. You didn't learn your lesson when you went to the hospital, did you?" My father questioned. He's still on me about that?! "Your suppose to grow up to be a businessman, not a man that plays games for a living. That makes no money and your gonna end up on the streets." Doesn't he know today's world? "The person who created DragonKnight Saga is huge and famous now," I said and he slapped me. "Youll become a businessman and you'll like it. Quit working at that dumb bakery while you're at it" he yelled. "It's not dumb! It feeds people and actually makes me happy" I stated and he got more mad. "If you keep working at your stupid cousin's bakery you'll end up just like your mother you hear me," He Said. "DONT TALK ABOUT MOM LIKE THAT! SHE WALKED OUT BECAUSE SHE WAS FED UP!" I yelled at him in tears and he slapped me making me fall to the ground. "Gosh, you kids and your attitudes. Keep this up and your moving schools" He stomped to his room and slammed the door. I picked up the phone and called Zeke and he picked up.

"What's up" questioned Zeke and I stayed quiet with tears down my face practically shaking at his point. "Hello? Did I call you by mistake?" Zeke was really confused. "Of course not..I'm just.." I stopped talking to hold back cries. "Your crying aren't you? You can tell me things Jayden. I'm your boyfriend remember?" Zeke pointed out and I remained quiet. "My father after you left got mad at me...He told me stuff from the hospital which was like what..two years ago? He keeps telling me to become a businessman and quit my cousin's bakery." I ranted. "You should follow your dreams he shouldn't just control you like that. Your not a robot and never will be." Zeke said. "S-Should I try and break free?" I asked. "Coming from me I would say yes. Being in an environment is terribly unhealthy for your mind and health." Zeke is full of wisdom it makes me want to laugh. "Do I hear laughing?" Zeke jokingly questioned and I chuckled. "Yeah..your wisdom makes me feel better. Maybe the nickname turtle is giving you wisdom." I commented and Zeke chuckled. "I wish I could talk to you more, but my sister is calling me to help her and my mom with dinner. Call me when you need someone to talk to Okay?" Zeke said and I hung up.

I don't know what I would do without him...I would just be a person wandering in an empty space in life.
