Pit sighed as the room cleared and walked over to Nik. She propped him against her shoulder as she took him down to the medic office. “Gods, she really got you good. I’m sorry about that.”
“It’s fine. I did deserve it. But I don’t need to go to the medic, she only broke my nose. Besides I’m a fast healer.” Nik said then winced.
“Yeah, I’m not buying it. We’ll get you healed up ASAP since we’ve got a busy day ahead.”
“Always hated busy days.” Nik sighed. “What else are we doing?” he asked.
“Well for one, I’m bringing you to the ship once you're healed,” Porthos said walking into the room. “Are you always this proactive?”
“Not really. I tend to leave political matters to other people, as I’m a big introvert. Being blind doesn’t help either, as I can only see people’s emotions and a lot of people tend to hide theirs.” Nik sighed. “And what do you mean by ship?”
“Just when you're done we leave. Okay?” Porthos said.
“Ok then,” Nik answered. Pit opened the door to the healer's office and entered, holding the door open for Nik. “Porthos, you coming in or nah?” She asked.
“Yeah, I and he are leaving to go to a ship after this, want to come?” He said with a smile.
“Well, duh. I’m the one who told you we were going in the first place.” Pit said, rolling her eyes playfully and smirking at Porthos.
“Since when! When did I tell you where it was!? I don’t recall ever doing so.” He said, smirking back mockingly.
“At one of the meetings last week when we were figuring out what do with Nik over there.” She jerked her head at Nik. “You said something about it reacting to his Wysp or something?”
“Oh that… right…. Um, yeah. The lights came on even though the power has been out as long as I can remember. So when he’s healed we can head over there I guess.”
“Yup. That’s the plan.” Pit said, looking to Nik so he would just go in already.
“Listen, okay? I’m blind. Can you show me the door, please? I’ve been using my wysp for sight. but I can’t do it all day. For all, I know you’ve brought me to a cliff.” Nik said exasperated feeling the wall going away from the door.
“If we led you to a cliff, then we would have never been inside the meeting hall. Unless, of course, there was a giant cliff inside of a building. We’ve only walked a few seconds at best, so you can probably trust us.” Pit retorted sarcastically. “Also, if there was a chasm inside of her, the building would collapse, since that is not up to date with the building codes.” She grabbed Nik’s arm and shoved him into the room, though it wasn’t a harsh shove.
“Fair excuse, I guess,” Nik said after being lightly shoved. He continued to walk, no longer limping and most of the blood on his face was gone.
“Ah, well if it isn’t the one-shot wonder.” The healer said, looking up from her papers.
“One-shot wonder?” Nik asked leaning on the wall trying not to run into anything.
