Noise. Overwhelming noise. Pale , white noise. Screeching , burning noise. A blanket hum of “SKREEEEE” that Moth needed to escape from. He opened his eyes only to see double, then fade into a blur. As he did this, the white noise fizzed into cries of “skriii!!!”but unlike the white noise, it was irregular and screechy. “voices” thought Moth. Oddly...reptilian,voices. As he raised his head, they became less panicked, until one said, in German, “hello. Welcome. We do not appear to have your species in our database. What do you identify as ?”

“non-binary” Moth stated. Suddenly, all the other voices switched from high-pitched screeching to his language. “ How?” He almost whispered, whilst one touched their wrist , as if to, well..input info into a database. “ species: non-binary.” they said.

“universal translator.” one said, looking directly at Moth with their slit-eyes. Moth stared at the being he was being confronted by. There were eight in total, and they had scaled, round heads with slits for eyes. They were all different shapes and sizes, except for two, who appeared to be twins. They were clothed in very professional uniforms, covered in rather small gadgets. Some had rather big teeth but rather small hands. They were all reptilian. They appeared to be..well...dinosaurs. And on a different planet.
