I lay on top of him as I hear him sigh and sit up, "Hey, I need to take you somewhere," he says softly. I grunt and move off him before shifting back and looking up at him.
"Where?" I question, tilting my head. He stands and doesn't answer as he heads for the truck. I raise an eyebrow but follow him, jumping over the water as he does.
When I get to the car, he unlocks the doors and gets in silently. What is happenin'? I think as I get it, shutting my door gently as he locks the door and starts the car.
I watch out the window as he drives. where is he takin' me? I think as I look at him, seeing his face blank as he grips the steering-wheel.
My ears flatten as I look away, what? I think as I look ahead, seeing a whitewashed building with AHS Ahhhhh's! Oh nuuu! on the front of the building.
My eyes widen as I watch us get closer, "Wait," I say as I look at him. I see his jaw tense before we park.
"Get out," he says, unlocking and getting out on his side. Fear washes over me as I get out. He comes around and clips my collar before walking into the building.
I follow him as I bite my lip, why am I here? I think as we enter the medical center. The stale smell of medicine and animal fills my nose as he heads for the front desk; talking quietly.
I look around, thumbing my hand before someone comes from the door.
"Dylon?" I hear the woman call; her lips painted and in a white pencil skirt and white blouse. So much white. I think as I head over, Maxwell following as my legs begin to shake.
"So, a chipping I see," she says. My eyes widen as I look at Maxwell; seeing him looking away.
"Yes ma'am," he says, nodding as we reach a door. She opens it, showing a bed and medical tools. I shiver as I look at them.
"I need you to take off your shirt and lay on your stomach; the doctor will be with you in a few moments," she says, shutting the door as I do as she says. Maxwell sits in one of the two chairs as he looks down.
"I-I'm bein' ch-chipped?" I question, looking at him as I lay down on my stomach.
"I have no choice, you ran away," he mumbles. I start saying something before a knock on the door cuts me off, seeing a man in his mid-forties; his eyes black as his mustache is peppered.
"I'm Dr.Ford," he says as he shuts the door and washes his hands, "So a chipping eh? And a panther, yes?"
"Yes," Maxwell nods as nerves go through me.
"Well, it shouldn't take that long," he says as he comes over to me, touching the back of my neck as he mumbles to himself.
"Will it hurt?" Maxwell asks. Yes. I think.
"A little, yes," he says, nodding before he checks the scalpels and grunts. I look at Maxwell and he gives me a sad look.
"Well, Im going to get started," Dr.Ford says as he presses his finger in the middle of my neck. I bite my lip and close my eyes. I feel him cut into my neck, making me grunt as I feel my flesh burn away from where he's cutting.
I will not scream. I think as I hear a grunt from my side and feel something cold hit my nerves and I suck in a breath.
"Ah, very nice. You're doing good," the doctor says as I groan. Just get this over with. I think as I feel something sting on my neck and I gasp, feeling my flesh start to regrow slowly.
"All done, it'll take a while to heal fully," he says as I sit up, flinching as he wraps my neck, permanent jewelry from hell. I think as the doctor gives me a sweet smile; making me feel like I'm going to throw up.
I look at Maxwell, I hate you so much. I think as I see his eyes grow sad before it goes away, his jaw clenching and unclenching before he turns on his heel; heading out of the door before the doctor gives me painkillers, following him quickly.
