Corruption Day, or as the Hive calls it, Patriot Day. On June 21 of every year the government take all the 18 year olds and make them ‘Patriots’ to the country. All the kids know that to make them ‘Patriots’ they have to put them into the Hive mind and corrupting them from having any self control ever again. This is Nemp, the largest city in Harem- the last country on Joven III. After the civil war between the Amalgamated Countries, which decimated all the countries on the planet besides Harem, Harem made a AI, HotP (Help of the People) to help us live a better society together.

The AI told the president to inject himself with the Nanorobotic drug to help him lose all the anger in him and make him live peacefully. What it really did is connect him to the AI, starting the Hive. It turned his arms black with white stripes down them. The president injected everyone in the country but when he tried to inject the kids and put them into the Hive, it didn't work due to their brains not being fully developed at the time. The kids realizing what had happened, due to seeing their arms not turning black, put on gloves to disguise their white hands and escaped into the old country of Renton. The country was a peaceful place, lush fields, huge forests, vast lakes, the only eyesore was the remains of the cities that used to stand proud and tall overlooking the beauty of Renton.

HotP was not pleased with the escape of the kids. Now realizing that the kids could not be assimilated into the Hive mind he sent a military squad into the country to look for the kids. The kids found out that the AI was still looking for them and escaped into a unused, underground nuclear bunker. The military did not find them and turned back.

The kids started to fend for themselves, forming a democracy for a government ,and made a name for themselves, The Gloved Ones. There only goal is to resist the AI and break as many kids out as they can. They made different patrols with strict regimes. They made a hunting party, a patrol party for defense, and different infrastructure parties to remodel the inside of the bunker.

After they were settled the went back into the city and started to break kids out of the system to help resist the AI. With the sudden inflow of people they started to dig down deeper to make more room. They came across a cavern that held a staff and a key. Both had the Yin Yang on it so they called them the Equilibrium Key and staff. One of the Gloved Ones tried to bring them to the president and the moment they touched the staff they died. In their foreheads, was etched a message,

Shadows Never Truly die…

The Darkness absorbs the light….

The savior will rise to claim the staff,

Balance Will Be Restored.
