He grabbed the body
That was wrapped in
Brown cloth,
Tied by red rope,
And still, bled
Here and there
And tossed it over his shoulder.
His beautiful,
Iridescent eyes
Gaped out
Into the ocean
And the ocean reached out to him.
Caressing his unclothed feet,
Wetting the bottom of his pants,
Calling him to come back home.
But he wouldn't.
