A delicate flower should never be picked the wrong way. I was walking to go see Xeke, but I heard Kidet was in there. “Xeke. You have potential and power. Help me, please. I know things now that could bring this whole problem to the floor, but I need your help.”
“I don’t know, Kidet. Arthus said my holograms weren’t stable yet. I don’t think they ever will be.”
“Well what if your holograms are trying to help you remember something? Think about it. We can save everyone. We can save Nirandi from this fate!” A prolonged silence was heard from out the room. With a final breath being, “I’ll do it,” from Xeke, I went to Tanoris to see what’s going on. The silent halls filled me with anxiety. I was about to knock on the door, but I heard another conversation going on. “Everything I’m doing is to protect her. The potential that she stored is massive, and we must make sure that they’re both safe.” I chose not to ask him and ran towards the garden. I remember the exact spot where he hit the ground. Dead center. I hit it with enough force to open the latch and increased the speed of my descent. I stood up and landed on my feet and walked over to the emotionless doors. They were wide open, as if someone didn’t close them, so I went in and they closed behind me. I was back in the darkness and thought about everything that happened. I was back in this cell place and the same person appeared to me. He looked like me. “What are you doing here? Didn’t I tell you to leave the last time?” he rolled his eyes and lifted his hand.
“Wait!” I grabbed his hand, and he looked surprised.
“How can I feel you? You...you’re in my head…” he started reeling back.
“Trust me, I’m real. I have some questions to ask you!” I yelled and he looked at me. He smirked and closed his eyes. We were in a whole different area. It was a throne room, gold covered the whole area. “What’s your name?” he asked calmly.
“Nirandi. And yours?”
“Hm..” he thought for a moment. “My name is Nirodi. I presume your last name is Onis?”
I looked in daze and nodded. He chuckled and looked me dead in my eyes. “It seems as if we are related, Nirandi. But that means you are my target. Unfortunate, but I will not allow my parliament, my hard earned kingdom, to die.” I gasped and crossed my arms. “What are you talking about? I don’t even know you. Why are you targeting me?” He grabbed my arm and said, “Because, dear sister, you are ignorant to what’s going on.” I pushed away from him.
“Just tell me then, about you and father. If he’s alive that is.” He went to the throne touching it and brushing his hand against it. “He’s alive...for now. I plan on changing that. Father and Mother are both liars. They held us away from each other. Whatever’s going on, you might want to be knowledgeable. Because if you aren’t, you are my target. That’s just it.” He smirked wickedly and let out a sigh causing us to go back to the dungeon cell. The water began dripping again and soon a wave of water crashed down onto me. Nirodi gazed at me sadistically, having no sympathy in his eyes whatsoever. I closed my eyes and was surrounded by darkness again.
No way. There could be no way that we were related in anyway. And what did he mean by target? I've never seen him ever in my life and yet I'm on his hit list. I couldn't keep dodging everyone, and they can't keep dodging me! Whatever is going on, I'll find out one way or another. Even if it means I have to stay in this chamber for answers. I began to think about Kidet said about saving me from fate. Why was he so upset? I felt this floating sensation, like there was no ground underneath me. I opened my eyes and saw a green and brown room. It was massive, but I could see the ends of the four cornered area. Suddenly, a snake rose up, barring into my eyes. I screamed and floated backwards, but it’s tail grabbed me gently and brought me closer to it. “Who...Nirandi? What are you doing in here? Y-you aren’t supposed to see me like this!” The snake screeched and the room turned pink. Its body was smooth and everytime it slithered, its body moved like a wave. I looked at it confused until I looked at the features of it. The snake’s fangs were short, wide, and hollow. Its body was large, but everything was proportioned. Its head fanned out like the crown of a Pharaoh. It was a-
“Yes. I am King Cobra. And you’re not supposed to be here. How are you here anyways?” He questioned me, curiously, and he wrapped around me. He dragged on his S and brought me to him. “Look, I don’t know myself. But I need answers. It’s been weeks and I just found out I have a brother and a father who rule a kingdom. I’m pretty confused and I don’t know what’s going on.” King Cobra sighed and the walls turned a dirt brown. He opened his mouth to speak but stood up and became attentive. The room turned a bright yellow and he looked at me. “Someone is coming. Don’t say anything, you shouldn’t be here in the first place.” The room turned blue and King Cobra’s tail constricted me then covered me. I saw how his body relaxed, his muscles untensed. It was like he was laying down to sleep. I made no noise, but it became harder and harder to breathe. “King Cobra…” I heard a voice boom. It sounded familiar.
“How are you here? Who are you?”
