The next morning we are all gathered in the room. Everyone looking worse for wear except the new faces. F14U being the youngest and the quicker to jump back from experiments approaches them and signs. WC12’s face cracks a little in surprise and maybe annoyance. It is hard to tell as she is like an ice queen. WC13 signs right back. But we don’t know those signs. WC3 probably understood those signs. But she feared in them understanding the signs. So she created the own sign language, the one we use. It is always harder for the new WC to learn it.
From across the room I make eye contact with WC5. He looks tired and withered, but oddly strong. <Go speak quietly to them and bring them to Me.> Nodding I walk to the new faces. WC5 saw through A13S soul switch and is the only person that knows I can speak common language, thus help them quickly learn our language.
F14U keeps signing at them and is getting hurt by their lack of response. At least WC13 tries to sign back, which is why I think F14U hasn’t cried yet. <They don’t know yet, go play with the others.> I signed as smiled back at the little cutie glaring up at me. <But I wanna sign with them!> Sighing I get down to the now pouting child. <You can later. Why don’t you go cheer up C0708, she had a hard night.> <Really?!> Nodding my head yes, F14U looks back at her and decides that was where they needed to be.
Grabbing the newcomers by the hand, I dragged them to the only blind spot in the room. Personally, I think WC5 set it up somehow. C7910 believes it is a design flaw. No matter the reason it is our safe space. WC5 sits in the corner and motions us to sit down. I sit down between the two. WC3 and other older shifters sit around us making noise, signing acting as a wall. The guard don’t think much of it since it is a common occurrence and is used when disciplining a member of the pack.
I start signing to WC5 about whatever I feel like. Then I start mouthing random words. Just as the two new faces start thinking I am insane, I start speaking quietly in common language. With a smirk I turned to the two slightly stunned face both trying to hide their shock. The queen doing a slightly better job. They both play it cool.
“Welcome to our hell.” WC5 frowns at that, he can still read lips and understand the language even if he cannot speak. “Short story: WC5 he is your guy. I can help. I know purple head is with you, you’re lucky their soo blind. Honestly, their sharp eyes on everyone but us was a dead giveaway. I am going to teach you our silent language.” WC13 raised an eyebrow at me acknowledging purple was with them.
From that moment I taught them our language. Well that was until the daily tests begin. I couldn't help but whispered “Good Luck.” If they heard me they didn’t let on.

Getting back to my room after being poked and forced to shift no matter how hard I fought it, left me mentally drained. The most draining part though was holding myself back from killing them all. They were so ecstatic that I was a rare extinct species. Seeing their shock and joy on their face, just was a reminder of what was lost.
As a looked out the window into the hall, I was that girl being dragged to her room like her had no care in the world. That girl is definitely hunter that has been observing and stalking her prey for a while. Also how did she learn common language while being trapped here? The answer to that can wait till once we are out of here.
I started to fall asleep think of the hunt and of that little spitfire with a smirk on my face.
