I exit the bathroom and walk back to my bedroom wearing only a towel around my waist. "Are you here?" I ask, feeling stupid. "Yeah, hi there cutie," my invisible lover replies. I walk over to the edge of my bed and sit down beside him. 

"Are you okay? Sorry if I was too intense, it's hard to control myself around you. But I hope that was at least a decent first time. I'm completely open to any constructive criticism you have for me and/or my technique, I just want to make sure that you're comfortable and happy, and experiencing the least amount of pain possible, and if you're not then please tell me how I can improve for the future. 

Or not! I don't know if you want to do this again, and it's completely fine if you don't, I like just being with you and our relationship doesn't need to revolve around sex. Or it can if you want it to! I'm fine with that too, as long as you're happy." 

I chuckle at how cute he is all flustered and self-conscious. "Don't worry, you were perfect. It was great. And I would like to do it again sometime, but it doesn't mean it needs to be the only thing we do. Actually, I don't think I showered well enough. Could you join me in the shower to make sure I'm clean? You know, just for research purposes." I grin sheepishly. 

"Oh absolutely, I am all for research. But I think you need to be naked to take a shower, dear," my companion teases, whisking the towel off my lap and running away with it. I sit there for a moment, just basking in the moment before following my partner into the bathroom.
