I walked up to two big golden doors and nodding to the Knights on duty I pushed them open and walked in. I walked past the green dragon intertwined golden pillars and straight to the throne where my father sat in his ruby red robes. I walked to the foot of his throne and knelt, "Hello Father."
"Good maro my daughter, do you know why you have been called in today?" He asked not looking me in the eye.
"No father I don't."
Only then did the King look at me and in his eyes was a mixed look of horror, disgust and self-confidence. "You have been seeing people behind my back and not just anybody but the servants of the castle. I hear you have a preference for the female helpers."
I wince as he gives me an accusatory look, "So I have decided that if you are so keen on playing around you should get married."
I stood up to my full height my silver eyes flashing with anger, "What!"
"You heard me. I said that I have decided for to get married and I already have four suiters ready for you."
I was furious how could he do this to me but I calmed down and in an even voice I asked "But Father am I not needed on the battlefield?"
"Well yes but-"
"So how am I supposed to help out on the battlefield if I have a husband who's always worrying about me? And what if I have kids? I won't be able to leave them at home as you did with me or they won't know the love of a parent. They would grow up wanting to get as far away from home thinking that they aren't enough for my that they could never make me proud to be their mother." I ended my rant in a shout glaring into the eyes of my shocked father. I gasped as I realized what I said and covered my mouth with my hands.
