Ayumi turned to the other who was looking out over the view. Behind them, the whole of the mountain was ablaze as it lit up the sky in a soft orange pallet. Black and grey smoke filled the nights' sky horizon as it hung almost motionless in the distance. A few tears ran down the side of their face as they quietly sank down to the floor burying their head in their sleaves.

Light filtered along the skyline in vibrant pinks, blues, and oranges that overspread the crisp airs. Distant clouds speckled themselves across the horizon as a deep forest sprawled out in all directions under the feet of the massive creature of flight.
Hakk's body began to dip in the air as his feet brushed against the tops of the trees, inside Ayumi lay along her side slightly curled with eyes closed and the other with their legs pulled up towards them leaning off to the side with the rest of them half slouched overhead buried in their neck.
Hakks feet dipped again clipping the foliage, his body rocking as it pulled above the foliage.
Ayumi's eyes opened slowly, along the wall before her the purple vein tendrils were crawling up the left side of Hakks form.
"Hakk when are we landing?" Ayumi rubbed her eyes as she stretched sprawling out.
Silence.
"Oi, Hakk." Ayumi sat up pushing both her hands against the interior, the ground recoiled slightly at the force for a moment and then returned to its previous form.
Ayumi stood up approached where they'd entered, the opening gone. She pushed her hand forward as the wall began to stretch to match, then recoiling it shot back her force as she fell to the ground. Ayumi sighed as she lay back looking up at the lightening sky. Her stomach growled as she turned over, her eyes dipped close.
-----
"Not close..."
Ayumi swatted, opening her eyes she found herself face to face with the other guest who's legs were bent forcefully off to the side, her hand connecting with Hakks box. Outside Hakk's body now maybe a fraction of what it was, now floating over a great wide expanse of blinding white.
"Crap baskets…" Ayumi took in breaths as she moved to sit up nudging the other lightly. "Wake up."
The other's eyes opened slowly, a loud scream flowed from their mouth as it pierced Ayumi's right side she curled up covering her ears.
"That really hurts…"
"W-where…." The other backed into the wall with head turning side to side.
On all fronts, water. The sun hung high in the sky above reflecting off the nearly still waters as Hakk's feet dipped into the blue void only to bob upwards again.
Ayumi pushing out the stomach lining looking at Hakk face, she could barely see his the large slitted eyes buried under his lids. His head dipped forward into the water only to jeer back.
"What happened...to the forest." The other looked to her, the corners of their eyes filled with a white haze.
Ayumi shrugged and began digging through her satchel, items clinking and clanking as the rustled against her hands. Hakks body began dipping into the waters again, the drag slowly halted as they came to rest on the water surface.
"Got any ideas Fog?"
"What is happening? And who is fog?!" The other tried to back further into the wall as Hakks body began slowly sinking into the waters.
"You."
"What?"
"I made up one, your fog cause you control fog."
"I-I have a..." Their face froze for a moment as they stared. "I…" Their lips motioned words but echoed silence as Ayumi continued to dig through her bag.
The room began to close in on them until it was little more than enough room for both of them to sit legs bent towards themselves. Hakks box crushed up against the other as they tried to push it from digging into their backside.
"What is your friend doing trying to kill us?!" They used their legs to push the box into the side of enclosing walls.
Ayumi kneeling, leaned over and opened Hakks wooden box, opening each drawer her eyes darted over the contents before quickly closing them. Around them, the water began to engulf them fully, their breath began to form in small clouds from their mouth.
"Doesn't he need to breathe, how isn't he waking up?" The others form shrunk as its legs gave folding into their chest space with the box pressed cramptly against them.
"Don-know." Ayumi smiled as she continued to open compartment after compartment. From it she pulled out a small container tightly sealed, green in color marred with rust, scratches and a twist top, twisting she removed the cover in it was a white-grey powder. She closed the wooden box latching it.
"Maybe hold your breath and eyes?" Ayumi dumped some of the powder into the cap of the lid.
"Hold what? What is happening?!" The other looked to her. "What is that?!" They put their sleave covered arm over their mouth as they pulled themselves further away from her.
"I'm waking Hakk up, I think…hope?"
The water continued to cover them, now over Hakks entire body, they were beginning to sink into a black abyss. Ayumi looked at her side where her dagger hung on her belt.
Ayumi took the cap with a deep breath and closed eyes she sprinkled it on the ground beneath her, she bit down on her lip, the air began to feel heavy the powder turned to a white haze as it touched the ground. Closing the lid on the container she pocketed it. The other continued to back away elbowing the corners of the walls.
The underside of the room began to change color as the room walls began to expand, slowly the sinking Hakk floated more towards the surface. Her eyes began to water as she puckered her eyelids as tight as she could. Her hand reached for the dagger. 'Wake up Hakk...'
-----
Water rushed against her face, retreating leaving behind the smell of rotten fish, sputtering she sat up spitting the water out, her arms and flesh were covered in red splotches and her eyes were raw under her hand sharp shells dug into her flesh. Blinking she tightly closed her eyes opening them she squinted at her surroundings.
The tide again came as she pulled her feet back against the water, hissing, casting her hands against the water she itched her ankles. Back peddling she made her way through the sand taking a deep breath her lungs filled with a heavy scent. Her hand quickly flew to her back, reaching she grabbed. 'Still there?' Gone, her hand returned empty, reaching around she patted down the space about her, nothing. Bringing her hands to her nose she took a long breath.
"Blood?!"
