“Please? I did say before that I want to become more acquainted with you? At least let me show some level of courtesy?”

“So you can try to find your way into my pants?” Jinx stared at him as he winced.

“First…. I am fine with trying to be friends?”

“Because of what that lady said in the crystal ball?” Jinx cocked an eyebrow at him.

Once again Kurono winced.

“Your making it hard to try to be nice.” Kurono sighed.

“I'm usually good at that.” Jinx shrugged.

“Do you really want to walk all the way back to the school?”

“I was going to walk back home.” Which was almost as equally far away.

“I can give you a ride to either?” Kurono tried.

Jinx stared at him for a moment and after deciding he was telling the truth he sighed then nodded.

“Fine but try anything funny I will stunt roll out of the limo alright?”

“Understood.” Kurono smiled and they went into the vehicle.

“Where do you want to go?” Kurono asked.

“The school.” Jinx grumbled and Kurono went told the driver.

“So….” Kurono started but seemed to lose his train of thought.

“Sooooo you do realize everything I’ve seen is entirely illogical correct?” Jinx said and finished the last of the Mt. Dew.

“I had meant… to wait a bit longer before talking about any of this, I did not think you could guess that he was not my father.”

“It's not that I guessed he wasn't your father, the entire thing was just super fishy was all. You could have waited a bit more and made something else up instead of throwing oh hey i'm not a human but a demon thing at me. You could have said that office was for greeting guests and to make the company look cool or something. You could have said you misplaced your actual card and your father let you borrow his, or his copy or something.” Jinx raised an eyebrow at him.

Kurono pursed his lips.

“I did not think of that.”

“Well I can understand that, the closer someone gets to someones secret the more likely you are to panic instead of thinking with a clear mind.” Jinx tapped the Mt. Dew bottle against his own leg.

“You….are very smart you know that Jinx?” Kurono said.

Jinx just stared at him.

“More like im just noticing the things people don't think about.”

“Which is smart.” Kurono grinned.

Jinx sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

“And people say I have a big mouth.”

Jinx just wanted to go home and take care of his pets.

Kurono dropped Jinx off by the school which was deserted, making him happy since no one would see them together again. Even though by now the entire school probably knew they were hanging out.

Kurono smiled at Jinx from the limo.

“See you Monday right?”

Jinx sighed and then nodded.

“Nice, then maybe I can get your phone number?” Kurono grinned hesitantly.

Jinx looked at him in annoyance.

“Hey we are still helping each other in class right?!”

“I'm pretty sure you don't need my help to pass high school? You look like your 20 or something.” Jinx raised an eyebrow at him.

“Doesn't mean I ever went to humans high school? Plus I can still help keep teachers off of you so you can do whatever you want in school?”

Jinx pursed his lips.

The offer was incredibly tempting.
