Alice heard a creek and suddenly sunlight splurged all around her. Thankfully all the training in the Maze had trained Alice’s eyes to adjust quickly. They were on a balcony, and hundreds of creators scattered the ground. Alice looked left to right but no matter where she looked she was surrounded. A noise from above startled Alice and as she looks up Alice realized she was even surrounded in the sky.
The King walked up beside Alice, “My creatures, I would like to introduce you to your new queen, Queen Alice! Long live the Queen!” Cheers erupted from everyone, the creatures in the sky did loops to express their joy, while the animals on the ground through rocks in the air as of a way to celebrate. As this commotion continued the guards slowly backed Alice into the castle again.
The King slowly walked back to Alice, grabbed her by the arm and lead her away. No one spoke the rest of the way, but soon Alice found herself back in the room from before, except nothing was broken. Everything was as neat and as tidy as before, not a feather out of place. “Why?” Was all Alice could ask. If any creature saw her now, they would know to never let her leave.
“Because I love you.” King said in a confused manner. “I did all of this for you. I killed my wife, I killed her guards, all for you my sweet Alice. Now we can be together as man and wife should be.” Alice puked at the thought of all the pain she has caused. Yes, she had killed before, but only to survive, never for anything so mediocre.
"You see now, there is no escape anymore. Everyone will stop you, because, without a queen, there is no Wonderland. It won't matter rather they are your subjects or not, if they hate you or not, all that matters is that you stay here with me."
He killed everything for her, his Alice. He took everything from her, even her will. Some say something broke in Alice that day, even the King admitted, one time, that Alice was never the same after that. Maybe that was when the last of Alice’s innocents ran out, but for whatever reason, she was no longer the happy Alice the King once knew. The King started to hate himself till the day he died for taking the life out of her.
Alice’s first degree as Queen was that the Maze to be shut down and every creature in there to be released. Alice meet each creature personally after they were released to see how they were coping, the most famous of these creatures was the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, a door mouse, and a butterfly.
When she went to visit these monster Alice felt an instant connection, and these monsters. They became her friends, maybe because their crazy matched her crazy, or maybe it was because they were in hell together.
They showed Alice how wrong she was about calling her citizens monsters. They almost brought Alice’s smile back, almost.

How stupid Alice was for never going back to her world. No, I take that back, her stupidity was falling down a hole all in the name of a rabbit.
I thought this as I ran, how stupid one has to be Alice? Now it is all up to me to find a path to what was once Alice’s home. I am not clueless though, I know the first step is finding the other decedents of the people Alice called friends. To do this I needed to get to the Mushroom Kingdom, before my sisters, my mother, or my father finds me.
I had maybe three hours to make it there, if I can make it there, if I can make allies, if I survive I might make it back to where I belong. But, that is a lot of "ifs" that I am choosing to ignore and a lot of time that I am waisting by thinking. I stopped thinking and just ran.
