“So where did the plan to make me your friend go? Out the side of your ear just like the intelligence?” Jinx snorted at him.

“Uh…. I do want to make you my friend.”

“Oh really? Cause it seems like your doing a crappy job of it, usually you don't ask your friends to go on a date with you?”

Kurono blinked and put a hand over his mouth in embarrassment.

“Ah… sorry Im not that well versed when it comes to… making friends I suppose. All i've ever had were workers under me or people I seduce for energy.”

Jinx just rolled his eyes.

“Ah yes! Im sure you must have had ample amounts of women as well, I guess it's because of that charming smile of yours!.....I'm being sarcastic stop smiling.”

Kurono pursed his lips, looking embarrassed.

“I….have never done much with anyone….I have only kissed or foreplay. I have never fully done it with anyone.”

Jinx blinked in confusion at him.

“You are an Incubus right? Don't you need to feed off that sort of thing to live or something?”

“...Kissing and foreplay are enough so long as you are mindful of how much. I knew it would most likely upset my soulmate if I was not a virgin since they most likely would still be.” Kurono looked at him seriously.

Jinx blinked and felt himself deflate inside suddenly. He felt sort of bad for immediately assuming he was someone who liked to play around and conquer everyone.

“Well…… I still don't like you but yea….it does help I guess……” Jinx mumbled and scratched at his head.

Kurono beamed at him.

“I’m sorry for assuming you were a manwhore as well.” Jinx mumbled.

Kurono blinked and slowly grinned.

“So...does that mean I can hang around you more without you trying to tear me apart verbally?”

“Hang around me more...I guess but the tearing you apart verbally will still most likely continue, that's just my personality.” Jinx smirked at him as Kurono sighed.

“Hey at least *im interesting* as you said before right?” Jinx grinned maliciously at him.

Jinx laughed.

“So what are you really doing here? I know your not going shopping.”

Kurono pursed his lips.

“I noticed that you left your home area so… I thought I could visit you.” He said lamely.

Jinx narrowed his eyes again and felt his hackles raise.

“You even stalked me to my house!?” He snarled.

Kurono’s eyes widened.

“No no! There's a rule for Incubus and succubuses when it comes to our soulmates. The fates will not allow us to go within 2 blocks of where our soulmates live as sort of a safe haven thingy.”

“Huh?” Jinx cocked his head in confusion.

“Well…. We are a demon species that usually seduces when the other party is asleep. Even if my powers can not affect you…. Your still asleep in your home and it makes you vulnerable. Some Incubus or Succubus with less self control might…. Yeah…. So the fates decided to make it that way for the soulmates protection. I can not come to your home unless im invited and once I leave I can not return unless you say. Until we mate that is, because we would probably end up cohabitating soon after.” Kurono shrugged.

“But you were still stalking me enough to know I left my home?” Jinx huffed.

Kurono winced.

“It's more like I felt your energy reappear. You did not let me get much of a chance to explain but there are reasons why I can feel your energy and why you have succubus powers instead of Incubus since you are male. The fates make it so I can not sense your energy once you get within 2 blocks of home. Anytime I would try to get within 2 blocks of your place I will be pushed away by a barrier weaved by the fates.”

It made Jinx feel a bit better that he had some sense of privacy. Especially since the man was some kind of crazy demon with who knows what kind of powers.

Jinx slowly nodded and sighed.

He mentally thanked the fates above or below since he had no idea where they resided.

“So… you just wanted to hang out? Or something?” Jinx said slowly.

Kurono looked down bashfully and then back up at him.

“Is that a problem?”

Jinx felt himself deflate even more.

“Uh…..I suppose not……… But I am working right now so I can't play or anything.”

Kurono nodded.

Jinx went back to stocking the rest of the shelf and Kurono started to walk around.
