TW - SELF HARM THIS IS NON-CANON :)

 Jay  for once woke up before and Nio and wanted to see his routine. He pretended to sleep and waited for Nio to get up. Nio got up and started moving around.

Jay cracked his eye open after he heard the bathroom door open. He heard a stifled cry and he got out of the bed. The door was still open and Jay walked in. Nio was sitting on the toilet and his arm was bleeding. Nio looked up and he widened his eyes. Jay's face fell as he started walking to Nio. Nio stood up and pushed past him.

Jay tried to grab his arm but pulled back. Nio climbed out the window and flew off. Jay could see the red splotches on his arm. He rubbed his head not comprehending what just happened. Jay sat down on their bed and put his hands. He leaned back and lay on the bed. He fell back asleep and woke up to Nio standing in front of him.

He checked the time sitting up. "Crhist I fell back asleep for 6 hours." He mumbled rubbing his face. Nio had an unreadable expression on his face and Jay narrowed his eyes. "I swear if you say you are leaving I will handcuff you to me." He said and Nio laughed.

"No. This is- this is my home." Nio confirmed and sat next to Jay.  Jay narrowed his eyes again. "Show me your arms." He said and Nio shifted uncomfortably before showing his arms. There were probably dozens of scars and even more wounds, healing and new. Jay grabbed his hands and looked Nio in the eyes.

His gold and blue eyes were filled with tears and he started crying. Jay rubbed his back. "This- this is my punishment for leaving." Nio said, hiccuping. Jay cupped his face in his hands. "Nio, I don't care if I have to see you like this. I'm not going to leave you just because you left, For god damn sake let me take care of you." He said.

"I- I'm sorry." Nio started before Jay shushed him. "Oi you have nothing to be sorry for. I'm sorry for not noticing. I love you and want to grow old with you, so let me help you." Jay said and Nio nodded. "There is a really nice therapist and we can get you on some meds." Jay whispered and took Nio in his arms.

"Don't say anything." Jay warned Nio, which caused him to laugh. Jay smiled and planted a kiss on the top of Nio's head. Nio watched stuff on his computer while Jay snored. Nio giggled and poked him. Jay groaned and rolled over. He groaned again and sat up. Nio smiled at him and he blinked, confused.

"What??" He asked and Nio hugged him. "Don't know." He said and listened to Jay's heartbeat.
