Midoriya Izuku and Todoroki Shouto started dating at the end of the first year at UA and were a couple throughout the rest of their time there. As they were both rising quickly among the hero rankings, Shouto broke up with Izuku.

After the break-up, Izuku seems to disappear off the face of the earth.

People are worried for him and both heroes and villains search for the up and coming hero Deku, but alas, their search amounts to nothing.

Seven years later a little girl who couldn’t be older than six appears before Shouto, claiming that he is her father.
