The PA turned on, interrupting our lovely conversation.
‘Class eight A, Akira Kokuto, please report to the principal’s office immediately.’ The static turned off, and Karin gave me an I-told-you-so look.
She should’ve told me sooner.
‘Well then, I’m off,’ I said casually, getting up and slinging my bag over my shoulder. Karin lay her head down on my desk, looking at me ponderously. I have to admit, her short brown hair and piercing blue eyes made her quite cute so long as she didn’t open her mouth.
Which wasn’t such a common occurrence. She frowned as if reading my thoughts. Sometimes I really wondered whether or not she was psychic.
‘Why are you staring at me? Go.’ Shaking my head, I made my way out of the classroom.
This was going to be a long day.
