Lexy was sitting at the table eating the horrible pizza that Madam Vile had ordered. It was just more proof that Madam Vile was evil.

“This pizza is delicious!” Christine said enthusiastically.

Lexy looked incredulously at Christine. “What is wrong with her?” Lexy thought. “The pizza is terrible. Is Christine trying to get on Madam Evil’s good side? Doesn’t Christine know that Madam Evil doesn’t have a good side?”

“Hey, Lexy, isn’t this pizza pretty good?” Christine asked.

“Uhhhhhhhh,” Lexy said staring at her. Luckily Lexy didn’t have to answer because Madam Vile said…

“Yes, sure the pizza is good. It’s time for bed.”

“Already but it’s only 8:30,” Lexy said.

“But we can stay up a little later if we go into her room, right?” Christine innocently asked.

“Right,” Madam Vile said hesitantly.

“But Mom,” Rachel whinned.

“It is settled. Deal with it,” Madam Vile said harshly.

Lexy went into her dark purple room. She flopped on her light purple sheets.

“You must really like purple,” Christine commented.

Lexy blushed, “Shut up!”

Christine laughed. She flopped on the bed as well. “It’s not a bad color.”

Lexy leaned back. “So what do you want to do since it’s only 8 o’clock?”

“We could read...” Christine suggested hopefully.

Lexy groaned. “Let’s not. We could play board games.”

“Like what?”

“Umm...” Lexy sat thinking. “You know what, nevermind.”

Christine laughed again. “This is so much fun. Getting to be an actual girl doing girl things.”

“I know right. How about we watch that show about that thing?”

“Not that show about that thing. That’s my favorite.” Christine seemed in an eternal state of laughing.

“Well, what’s your favorite part?”

“That one part where that one person did that one thing.”

“That is a good part, but what about that other part where those two people do that thing?”

“Yes, I almost forgot about that! You’re right that is so much better. ”

“So. you do want to watch it?”

“Of course. I’m not caught up though.”

“How far back?”

“Like that one part.”

“No!!”

Lexy and Christine collapsed into giggles.
