I saw her eyes go gold. I knew what this meant. We both did. Her powers are taking over. She can't control it anymore. She stood in the middle of the cell as I watched her struggle to keep her powers contained. She ran here and locked herself in once she realized she was losing control. She took me with her ,her most trusted guard, and gave me orders to lock her in. I stood and watched as she fought. But her eyes were starting to go gold. She was losing. 

Her power lashed out at the walls seeking freedom. She fell to her knees and put her hands over her ears like she was trying to block out screaming. I knew what I was going to do. And it would probably kill me. I grabbed the key and unlocked the cell. I went in and locked it behind me. By now she had realized I was no longer standing on the outside, “What are you doing?! Go! Save yourself! Go!” Her power lashed at me but I dogged. I danced and dogged my way toward her. One lash bit into my arm. “No!” she screamed. I just kept moving. When I got to her I threw myself down and hugged her, “You die. I die……. I love you.” Its like her power froze when I spoke the last words. They started to dissolve and disappear. Her arms came up and hugged me back. “I love you too.” I looked up into her now blue eyes and kissed her.
