I'm sorry but I absolutely understand your mom. A phone shouldnt be at a dinner table. Maybe I am too old for that but I do agree conversation is better than staring at a phone. But the being sneaky is indeed something I kinda know? I mean I am asexual. So even in the beginning when you said you were feeling weird for never have beeing kissed as an 18 y/o... I'm 22. Same. But yeah my family rlly wants me to have a bf and get married and have kids. I have two older sisters both leading with that example.. Family isn't easy. I never intend to tell my mom I am asexual as she already thinks depression is an internet phenomenon but she knows I dont want kids. so thats a start I guess xD
