Izuku leaves, remembering everything Bakugou did and said that day. First, he just flat out embarrased him by saying "Deku is such a klutz" and some people ACTUALLY thought it was funny. I'm just glad he didn't say quirkless, whicth isn't really true, but he still sticks to it. Second, he tripped me up AGAIN and made me drop absolutley everything. Well, at least Uraraka saw.. she helped me clean it up. And last but not least, Bakugou picks a fight with me. He says that we should do it after school, and that to be there at 5... but I had plans with Todoroki to go to the mall. I want to go there, but who knows what kind of hell I will go through if I don't fight him... I just don't know what to do. After a few hours, it has struck 5:00, and I went to campus. I see Bakugou waiting for me, leaning against a tree. I walk over, and he catches his attention on me. I just know exactly he was going to say. It was going to be something like 'Hey there nerd' or 'Hey Deku' in his really strict voice, but he dosen't say anything. "Hey Kacchan..." I say in a really weak voice, knowing that I would be beat in the fight. "Hey Deku..." he says, seemigly kind of nervous, confusing me. "So, when are we gonna fight? Now?" I say. "No. We aren't. I didn't bring you here for this. If we were going to fight, I would invite my friends to watch me beat you. But I didn't. I brought you here for something different... something I didn't want to say in front of anyone else." he still seems as nervous, but he is trying to hide it. "S-so what did you bring me here for anyways?" I say, as confused as I could be. "A confession." he says, and he says that in a jitterish voice, like he is scared to say what he wants to say. "So... what is it even about?" I say, hoping it isn't anything.... gay. "I.. I- U-um... I l-like... you." he blushes hard, and my eyes grow wide, and I swear my heart skips a beat. "R-really?" I say in disbeleif that my biggest rival actually likes me. "I-it's true... I'm only hard on you to keep my popularity... I guess that's wrong to do..." he puts his face in the palm of his hands. I just stand there, shocked, and confused. Why does he like me, a little nerd that he seems not to even want to care about? "B-but Kacchan... what about Kirishima? You seem to spend a lot of time around him...." I say, hoping he decides to change his mind and go to Kirishima, but what he does next really suprises me.
