"First, allow me to introduce myself." She told Jenna. "I am Death, the Goddess of, you know, mortality and whatnot. Now for me to introduce yourself to you. You are, what's your name again? Oh yeah, Jenna. Jenna Rose, you are my daughter, my only one, at that. You're kinda part of a prophecy about killing me and whatnot, so... I kinda have to kill you.

"But you know what, Jenna? I'm not going to kill you now! That wouldn't leave much room for the plot. You are the main character, after all.

"Anyways, pick my poison! A little side note, though: please make my death at least a little interesting. I'd hate to die of electrocution or something. Buh-bye!"

Just like that, the skies returned to normal, time began to flow once more, and Death disappeared. Jenna was left even more confused than ever. Death's daughter? What did this all mean?
